I'll be playing (drums) with Begushkin, which is the solo project of Dan Smith, a sometime Will Oldham sideman, as will the guitarist/lead singer from my band, American Altitude, and the bass player from Night Owl and The Occassion. Dan writes great, creepy songs.

Headlining are indie veterans Bettie Serveert.

The show is at 9pm, and Maxwell's in Hoboken, if you ain't know.

sounds cool-i would attend if wasn't so far away. can you post again the stuff your band (or members of your band) recently recorded with Will? I wanted to download, but somehow missed it and could never find that thread again.

Sorry for the confusion -- I didn't recently record with Oldham. Dan Smith recorded and toured with Oldham, and I'm in Dan Smith's band Begushkin. The stuff I posted was Begushkin, which does not include Oldham, but does include a couple of other people who play with Oldham -- I think the violinist and the accordion. I'm on a couple of tracks on the Begushkin CD, as is the guitarist from my band, and I'm playing with him live on Thursday. I hope that was convoluted enough. Anyway, I'll post a YSI link.
