i am sick to fucking death of people referring to various rancid bigoted piles of subhuman fucking dick biscuit as “the prime minister”

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 19 September 2018 09:09 (five years ago) link

Eh, you'll get numb to it after 19 months.

pplains, Wednesday, 19 September 2018 13:35 (five years ago) link

Is that when the next one is due?

American Fear of Pranksterism (Ed), Wednesday, 19 September 2018 13:47 (five years ago) link

See, you've got something to look forward to!

Morrison could push the election to November, giving him 15 months in the job, but is very unlikely to split the lower house and the Senate elections in one year. The Senate has to hold their election by May 18th, because of Trumble's double dissolution.

holy shit VG NAILS the thread title

fifth prime minister is a sewing needle

Squeaky Fromage (VegemiteGrrl), Wednesday, 19 September 2018 20:53 (five years ago) link

sewing needle would be best prime minister in 20 years tbh

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 19 September 2018 21:12 (five years ago) link

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 20 September 2018 09:30 (five years ago) link

three weeks pass...

the current prime minister is a shit fucking dickhead

(I have been saying this for most of the last 22 and a half years)

riposte malone (King Boy Pato), Thursday, 11 October 2018 11:06 (five years ago) link

This one is worse because he is prime minister right now.

In other news Harry for Presdetn?

American Fear of Pranksterism (Ed), Thursday, 11 October 2018 11:10 (five years ago) link

this cockbiscuit wants to let schools boot out gay kids because he's the next toxic bigot rolled out by the toxic bigot party

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 11 October 2018 11:18 (five years ago) link

i have completely run out of things to say, they're subhuman turd scooters

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 11 October 2018 11:19 (five years ago) link

another normal day in australia: the toxic bigot party votes for neo-nazi slogans in the senate

riposte malone (King Boy Pato), Monday, 15 October 2018 10:33 (five years ago) link

I never expected someone who got elected as the ‘human headline’ to be less of a cockfarmer than a good 50% of parliament.

American Fear of Pranksterism (Ed), Monday, 15 October 2018 11:45 (five years ago) link

And the self-proclaimed "centrists" being better on social justice and general not-shitness than the ALP

Mince Pramthwart (James Morrison), Tuesday, 16 October 2018 00:10 (five years ago) link

(which centrists?)

the federal ALP have been in a behaviour and policy nosedive since the NSW ALP govt began a protracted implosion under the weight of its corruption wing in 2005, and the federal party went "hmmm, let's learn exactly nothing from any of this and start copying their moves"

My Gig: The Thin Beast (sic), Tuesday, 16 October 2018 01:14 (five years ago) link

The Centre Alliance

Irritatingly, having been in Mayo electorate forever, we finally got rid of the Coalition and got Rebekah Sharkie in, and now I've just been redistributed into Christopher fucking Pyne's electorate

Mince Pramthwart (James Morrison), Tuesday, 16 October 2018 05:40 (five years ago) link

look at it this way: you get to vote against him

I stayed registered at my mother's address for years so I could go out on election day and vote against Philip Ruddock to cancel her out

My Gig: The Thin Beast (sic), Tuesday, 16 October 2018 06:13 (five years ago) link

so far this week we've had:

** 'it's ok to be white', validated by the Liberal party
** sorry i'm sorry i'm trying to remove it
** moving the embassy to Jerusalem, forgetting that any ultra-Orthodox in Wentworth who'd be impressed have already pre-polled
** insulting the former Kiribati president in typical Liberal fashion
** Barnaby Joyce! Getting back on the (Nationals leadership) horse?
** weird smearing emails to Wentworth voters
** i've probably missed something including whatever dumb shit the prime minister has said

AND IT'S ONLY WEDNESDAY

riposte malone (King Boy Pato), Wednesday, 17 October 2018 10:49 (five years ago) link

this Frank Spencer-esque prime ministership is way too hectic, seriously

riposte malone (King Boy Pato), Wednesday, 17 October 2018 10:50 (five years ago) link

their “you could end up with labor” scare campaigns are fucking hilarious tbh. nothing could be worse than what’s happening now.

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 17 October 2018 11:55 (five years ago) link

whatever dumb shit the prime minister has said

PM Pentecostal presents science awards by announcing that “the magic of science is belief,” also that murdering natives is science bcz then you can have their land & don’t you forget it!

My Gig: The Thin Beast (sic), Wednesday, 17 October 2018 18:04 (five years ago) link

watch them win a third term

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 17 October 2018 20:21 (five years ago) link

If so it’ll only be because federal Labor is chronically unable to get its shit together or articulate anything like a vision. I reckon Penny Wong should decamp to the Reps and run for leader, she’s one of the few nationally prominent Labor politicians who looks like she stands for any kind of world view.

an incoherent crustacean (MatthewK), Wednesday, 17 October 2018 20:34 (five years ago) link

or, murdoch

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 17 October 2018 22:39 (five years ago) link

Can a prime minister not sit in the senate?

Agree Penny Wong as PM would be awesome.

American Fear of Pranksterism (Ed), Wednesday, 17 October 2018 23:02 (five years ago) link

Huh - turns out that Prime Ministers not being Senators is by convention rather than the Constitution. Did not know that. Might be a tough sell to the electorate.

an incoherent crustacean (MatthewK), Thursday, 18 October 2018 00:16 (five years ago) link

Yeah that slanderous email re Kerryn Phelps was a bit o_0

Stoop Crone (Trayce), Thursday, 18 October 2018 00:20 (five years ago) link

I mean "ew she has AIDS" is incredibly childish.

Stoop Crone (Trayce), Thursday, 18 October 2018 00:21 (five years ago) link

ok great now we're in "labor is anti-semitic" territory

no need to wonder what a Dutton prime ministership would have been like

riposte malone (King Boy Pato), Thursday, 18 October 2018 08:50 (five years ago) link

i am loving that they keep hitting themselves

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 18 October 2018 10:07 (five years ago) link

just when you think they can’t be any more stupid

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 18 October 2018 10:08 (five years ago) link

they’re sending morrison into wentworth today, because obviously the best way to win over people who liked turnbull is to parade the bigoted fuckwit who took his job

calamity gammon (Autumn Almanac), Thursday, 18 October 2018 21:34 (five years ago) link

riposte malone (King Boy Pato), Sunday, 21 October 2018 01:10 (five years ago) link

they’re already doing exactly that, attacking malcolm for not gleefully supporting the people who destroyed him just a few weeks ago

Former head of a union (odd that nobody ever calls it that) is elected by rich voters, the world is upside-down.
