Malcolm rocked a hot pink tie to the joint press conference with trump although I can’t believe it didn’t turn brown considering how far up trumps arse he was.

Right column Leftist (sunny successor), Friday, 23 February 2018 19:49 (eight years ago)

he's always up somebody's arse

This was the week I learned that the name of the Australian ambassador to the U.S. is Joe Hockey.

Which is strange, because I thought that was our ambassador from Canada.

pplains, Saturday, 24 February 2018 01:30 (eight years ago)

reverse-periscoping (Autumn Almanac), Saturday, 24 February 2018 01:46 (eight years ago)

pplains, Saturday, 24 February 2018 03:35 (eight years ago)

he divided the population into ‘lifters’ and ‘leaners’ and then gifted the ‘lifters’ and took the ‘leaners’ to the cleaners

estela, Saturday, 24 February 2018 04:11 (eight years ago)

and the ‘lifters’ turned out to be rich fucks who enjoy the uplift of institutionalised corruption, and the ‘leaners’ turned out to be everyone who couldn’t find a job because of his shit policies

the fearless moderate prime minister made it to the mardi gras and (I presume) told the LGBTQI community how wonderful it was that he personally delivered marriage equality

a heartwarming moment

milquetoast malone (King Boy Pato), Saturday, 3 March 2018 12:57 (eight years ago)

he made some “everyone got to have their say” comment, he’s a tone deaf wankbox

reverse-periscoping (Autumn Almanac), Saturday, 3 March 2018 20:00 (eight years ago)

yes, everyone has to have their say

it would be wrong if B. Thompson of Smiggin Holes, NSW was not listened to (he believes that gays should be lynched)

unsurprised that the liberal party would consider installing a potato with the words 'no brown people' inscribed in its skin as prime minister, seems rather in character for them

Cardigan B (King Boy Pato), Thursday, 5 April 2018 11:47 (eight years ago)

maybe all those australians who remain convinced australia is not a racist country will wake the fuck up

two weeks pass...

I just emailed "Oohhh noooo! We're probably going to get Georgina fucking Downer as our new MP!' to my wife, and it popped up on-screen as she was doing a work presentation via Skype so that all her co-workers saw it.

Mince Pramthwart (James Morrison), Wednesday, 9 May 2018 07:06 (eight years ago)

everybody wins

karl wallogina (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 9 May 2018 10:03 (eight years ago)

Not quite as bad, but there's a married couple in the office. Bit weird at first since they're old friends of the boss and hired right after he came on board. But they perform their jobs well, so the weirdness has faded.

But the guy did his first big presentation to the company about his department with slides projected from his desktop. He stammered and hemmed his way to the end, but got through it.

And when the next department head went up there for her presentation, she minimized the ppt to reveal a text message from the guy's wife, sitting two rows down from me, saying, "You did a good job up there! So proud! XOXOXO."

pplains, Wednesday, 9 May 2018 12:00 (eight years ago)

And that was kinda of way off topic for this thread. Sorry.

pplains, Wednesday, 9 May 2018 12:01 (eight years ago)

today's most important fairfax story

In a recent talkback radio segment about language discrimination, one caller said his mother has a physical reaction when she hears “haitch”.

Cardigan B (King Boy Pato), Monday, 21 May 2018 11:15 (eight years ago)

Right column Leftist (sunny successor), Monday, 21 May 2018 17:52 (eight years ago)
