mamouns is great b/c the falafel is priced accordingly. it's like $3.50. i went had lunch there with some friends before my wedding. it was like $2.80 back then. it can feel kind of hard nowadays to find falafel for less than $5. some places even charge like $8 bucks, fuckin ripoff

The Mamouns on macdougal and cream cheese bagels from bagels on the square is basically how I eat for less than $10 a day in NYC
