Fucking L4rry P1ck3r1n6--I'm no GIllard fan, but of all the people to be gunning for her over dubious financial dealings in the past. This is a man who got rich selling dodgy "make millions betting on horses" CD-ROMs for hundreds of dollars each, has been declared a bankrupt on more than one occasion (and yet has his huge Gold COast house and numerous other possessions in his wife's name), and has a wife who has gone missing and nobody knows where she is.

― frances boredom coconut (Trayce), Friday, 31 August 2012 05:22 (thirteen years ago)
yeah, he would win an election v gillard because
- greens voters don't mind him- labor voters don't mind him- a load of displeased swingers would suddenly consider the coalition- all the howard/abbott-loving nutbar coalition zombies who hate turnbull would vote for him regardless because they are nutbar coalition zombies

I'd only vote for Turnbull if he promised to wear that leather jacket of his for the entire term of office:

― yuoowemeone, Friday, 31 August 2012 10:41 (thirteen years ago)
He's better than either of the current options, but he's no stranger to cash-for-mates, dodgy vote-buying shit either (like his shelling out wads of $$$ to an untested weather control company when he was trying to save his seat in the '07 election).
