Yep, I agree. I would happily pay for a paywalled online news service that was trustworthy, full of professional journos and proper research and NO FUCKING COMMENT SECTIONS.

Yep Ive just read 2 or 3 more "I used to read HS but switched to Age when paywall went up" comments. Never occurred to me before (in fact I had no idea news.c.a had been paywalled! I dont read it).

A month or two ago a plumber fixed our blocked kitchen drain by dislodging a massive bolus of congealed fat which erupted all over the backyard. I refer to this blockage and its after-effects as the Gina Rinehart.
