white idiot writhes on chair begging for cheeseburgers (haitch), Thursday, 19 April 2012 23:04 (fourteen years ago)

john faine on the wireless before on the greg ham tip, "we'll talk about a man who was responsible for songs that were part of the aussie vernacular", it's obviously awful what's happened to him but raking over someone's depression and alcoholism and bigging him up as a genius for playing on two big hits (one basically a novelty) is seriously NAGL

white idiot writhes on chair begging for cheeseburgers (haitch), Thursday, 19 April 2012 23:13 (fourteen years ago)

australian media, amirite

white idiot writhes on chair begging for cheeseburgers (haitch), Thursday, 19 April 2012 23:14 (fourteen years ago)

John Faine is spectacularly annoying I have come to realise, and Im a fan of left wing talk radio. But geez he is sanctimonious. And he always takes over ppls stories and tells his own! Fuckin.

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Thursday, 19 April 2012 23:35 (fourteen years ago)

He ran a guest lecture in my media degree in the '90s and was really impressive cf. the smug jock he is now.

Autumn Almanac, Thursday, 19 April 2012 23:39 (fourteen years ago)

Newton goin' ham. AGAIN. Second or third time in a week now?

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Monday, 23 April 2012 22:06 (fourteen years ago)

Wait no, theyre just re-reporting the same incident a week later just to confuse me.

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Monday, 23 April 2012 22:07 (fourteen years ago)

i idly wondered the other day if 'going ham' might take on a new meaning in the light of the greg ham thing but it was decided by all that it might be "too soon"

the sunno)))boys (electricsound), Monday, 23 April 2012 22:14 (fourteen years ago)

loolllll

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Monday, 23 April 2012 22:15 (fourteen years ago)

Have they said what did for him, yet? Seemed like an OD on armchair guess.

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Monday, 23 April 2012 22:16 (fourteen years ago)

that would take quite a lot of armchair

the sunno)))boys (electricsound), Monday, 23 April 2012 22:34 (fourteen years ago)

Baha :) That will teach me for dashing of a gramatically shite post before work.

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Monday, 23 April 2012 23:48 (fourteen years ago)

the sunno)))boys (electricsound), Monday, 23 April 2012 23:50 (fourteen years ago)

Yeah I misread too, this *is* second time since he's been in Miami. As well as the current court action here for earlier shenaigans. Poor bastard. He's clearly p ill.

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Tuesday, 24 April 2012 00:00 (fourteen years ago)

At least he's taking the appropriate steps to deal with it.

he really is a massive [REDACTED]

$1 tarkus (haitch), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 00:31 (fourteen years ago)

I have to admit I really havent been paying this Slipper crap any attention. Politician gets accused of grubby tactics/cheating/spending govt money, news at 11. Who cares anymore, they all do it.

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 00:33 (fourteen years ago)

this one has added 'frission du gaylord', as the french should say

$1 tarkus (haitch), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 00:51 (fourteen years ago)

loll

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 00:56 (fourteen years ago)

also his disgracing removes the goverment's balance of power, that's a minor thing that probably won't affect the country in any way though, nbd who cares

┗|∵|┓ (sic), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 01:08 (fourteen years ago)

well, there is that

$1 tarkus (haitch), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 01:09 (fourteen years ago)

Well again, tbh I dont care, not because its nbd but because honestly, we have zero good governance on either side of the fence anymore and it is utterly depressing.

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 01:12 (fourteen years ago)

That said I do NOT want Abbott being PM, that makes me feel sick even thinking of, jesus why couldnt Turnbull be their leader if idiots insist on voting Lib idk

fix it with like some music glue (Trayce), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 01:12 (fourteen years ago)

at this point i'd almost prefer the mad monk, at least then he might stfu

suburban buttshaven cannibal (electricsound), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 01:17 (fourteen years ago)

What do you think the Gillard government - separate from the internal powerplaying of the Labor Party - is doing wrongly or ineptly

┗|∵|┓ (sic), Wednesday, 2 May 2012 01:37 (fourteen years ago)

To be honest, in actuality probably very little (though the mining tax backdown pissed me off). But Gillard is giving the perception, at least, of being incompetent and not in control. Wether it is true or not, the rabble are buying it, and people who would probably have voted lab for years are gonna vote lib (or *maybe* greens?) out of disgust. She has no command, no real strong leadership vibe. Which I hate saying, because it comes over as "lol girl" which isnt why. She's just... gah. I dont know. I'm really not well versed in political details, I'm happy to admit that.
