Knocking footballers or diggers is a death-threat level offence. So knocking a dead footballer who did cancer charity work is asking to be hounded down by every man and his rabid dog. Aker, you idiot.

zooey bechamel (Trayce), Friday, 23 March 2012 00:36 (fourteen years ago)

yuoowemeone, Friday, 23 March 2012 10:16 (fourteen years ago)

its cool bro we're going to replace the monorail with a TRAM

Clive "The Chip" Crinkly (King Boy Pato), Friday, 23 March 2012 11:06 (fourteen years ago)

because a TRAM will totally solve all our public transport woes, especially that decaying rail system run by idiots

Clive "The Chip" Crinkly (King Boy Pato), Friday, 23 March 2012 11:08 (fourteen years ago)

lovin' the elongated legs of HAJNAL BLACK story

so apparently the government spent $370,000 to find a way to ban anzac day and replace it with a day where we have to go to mosques and eat communist halal meat

btw I am getting all my news today from comments from the daily telegraph and herald sun sites only

Clive "The Chip" Crinkly (King Boy Pato), Monday, 26 March 2012 07:31 (fourteen years ago)

anzac day in melbourne is FUCKED because they DISRESPECTFULLY moved the parade to FUCKING st kilda road due to the FUCKING COMMUNISTS (and not the major 18-month infrastructure project in swanston st or anything)

found out the hard way that you must TOUCH and not wave or swipe

rfid tech bought from the soviets qf

TURPS-DEFCON1.jpg (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 03:41 (fourteen years ago)

i don't have a problem with the touch part, but the 2-3 seconds it takes to respond

mystery shjopper (electricsound), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 03:45 (fourteen years ago)

The "far queue" joke was genius, I did lol.

zooey bechamel (Trayce), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 03:57 (fourteen years ago)

But the "touch dont swipe" ting has been a known for a long long time. That said, even then it fails a LOT (ive seen it), and takes a full 1-5 seconds to register. Unlikje a metcard which just goes in and comes out within a second. There are ppl on the comments on that article claiming the opposite - that a myki is a 1 sec reaction and metcards take 5-10 seconds (lol wtf is he on).

zooey bechamel (Trayce), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 03:58 (fourteen years ago)

that's what i mean, you touch and move it slightly (because hello the vehicle is in motion) and it spends 5 sec telling you that the read failed

TURPS-DEFCON1.jpg (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 04:02 (fourteen years ago)

btw myki fanboys exist, i've been hassled by them

TURPS-DEFCON1.jpg (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 04:03 (fourteen years ago)

myki fanboys

fanboys of myki

i ask you

TURPS-DEFCON1.jpg (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 04:03 (fourteen years ago)

Oh your talking about on trams, thats a bit different

I'm talking about at station gatez

zooey bechamel (Trayce), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 04:04 (fourteen years ago)

on that, metcard-embedded myki readers are faster than standalone myki readers ime

TURPS-DEFCON1.jpg (Autumn Almanac), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 04:07 (fourteen years ago)

Ive heard the opposite? Haha.

But overall, I'm wary noot of the readers per se (theyre shite), but th3e fact that these readers *working* are what bills us correctly. s'not like metcard where you scan once and you know yr done (*and if not, woo free trip). If these things wont touch off, say hello to a full day full fare, and good luck trying to get a refund (3 working days).

Also if you dont use yr card for 3 months, they SUSPEND it. And if you fuck something up and it blocks the card, you have to MAIL IT TO THEM to get it fixed. MAIL IT TO THEM.

zooey bechamel (Trayce), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 04:11 (fourteen years ago)

never had a prob touching off from the train.

merrick & toro rosso (haitch), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 04:16 (fourteen years ago)

though i heard about that time you had a prob touching cloth on the train

mystery shjopper (electricsound), Wednesday, 28 March 2012 04:19 (fourteen years ago)

>_<
