haha I spent a good portion of Thanskgiving afternoon racing a golf cart around the family farm on a comedically small Schwinn.

just FYI, this coming Saturday is Cranksgiving in most areas (or, at least, in NYC, CHI, and MPLS). i'm organizing the race here in Minneapolis, though somewhat at my own peril, as it falls in the middle of exams. but wtfever, it's for a good cause.

i encourage you all to find out when/where it's happening in yr area(s), and get after it. ride around the city, go fast, go slow, carry a turkey on your bike for charity!

one dude bought nearly $100 of groceries, and someone else dropped off (by car) a frozen turkey and two sacks of potatoes w/my friend who then had to ride it all over to the finish line. must've been close forty pounds (w/cans and the weight of a messenger bag)
