332.9 miles in March, 575.9 in total for 2015 so far. Ahead of where I expected to be at this point in the year.

michaellambert, Tuesday, 31 March 2015 23:09 (eleven years ago)

579.2mi for march, not counting 25 miles or so of rides to the train station. i'm planning to ride my mtb more this summer, so my mileage will be down- focusing more on hours from here.

men without hat tips (Hunt3r), Wednesday, 1 April 2015 04:01 (eleven years ago)

412mi for March, my biggest month in years. 855mi so far on the year, nearly half of what I did all last year. This year is looking up!

sous les paves, Friday, 3 April 2015 05:24 (eleven years ago)

two weeks pass...

229 in March, 687 for the year so far. On track to get to 2,000.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Wednesday, 22 April 2015 09:04 (eleven years ago)

Just realised the month has changed. Anyway, a pleasing 445 for April.

(Meme From) Essex Press (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 3 May 2015 21:11 (eleven years ago)

229.5 in April. So a slight (!!!) improvement.

Have my first big ride since Nora was born on Saturday - we're heading for Dartmoor. Excited!

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Thursday, 7 May 2015 11:05 (eleven years ago)

632.6 mi which is fine considering weather and attention going to other stuff. i do wish i was riding my mtb at all, it's just not happening. if i have to get in a car to go to a trailhead, i pretty much hate that. theres like a 30 min transactional cost on every ride.

irl sweatpants (Hunt3r), Thursday, 7 May 2015 15:26 (eleven years ago)

SAME

this doesn't bother me nearly as much for hiking or BC skiing tho

gbx, Friday, 8 May 2015 01:37 (eleven years ago)

skiing is ~different~ :)

irl sweatpants (Hunt3r), Friday, 8 May 2015 02:25 (eleven years ago)

i miss ski season :(

gbx, Sunday, 10 May 2015 21:23 (eleven years ago)

we got over 5" of snow in my yard this morning, so i miss bike season. with all of the rain and snow this week, i've had a whole week on the trainer. on the plus, we only lost one tree limb.

irl sweatpants (Hunt3r), Sunday, 10 May 2015 23:01 (eleven years ago)

three weeks pass...

375 for May. A windy and colder than usual month. Looking forward to some proper summer soon. Broke my carbon frame in the middle of the month, but have had it fixed.

(Meme From) Essex Press (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 31 May 2015 13:55 (eleven years ago)

345.8 miles for May. Managed 351.1 in April and thought I was getting nowhere near that this month, so I am pleased.

michaellambert, Sunday, 31 May 2015 21:31 (eleven years ago)

232 for May, which is a tiny increase on March and April. On 1,000 for the year so far, which is halfway to my first year of fatherhood target. Should hopefully beat May easily this month, as we're planning a Bristol-to-Exeter (basically redoing this - http://www.strava.com/activities/156277658 - but shorter and without the Blackdowns) at the end of the month.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Monday, 1 June 2015 08:16 (eleven years ago)

one month passes...

312 miles in June. Sooo not hitting 4.5k this year :/

the most painstaking, humorless people in the world (lukas), Wednesday, 1 July 2015 00:01 (ten years ago)

288 miles for June; missed 40+ on Saturday due to injury but did about 30+ unexpectedly yesterday when i took the afternoon off and pootled up and down the estuary.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Wednesday, 1 July 2015 08:01 (ten years ago)

570 for me - been squeezing in the rides whenever I'm not working

396 mi, took a couple of weeks off for family.

A disappointing 166 miles for June, well below target but my bike was out of action for two weeks.

michaellambert, Wednesday, 1 July 2015 22:37 (ten years ago)

jfc NBS! how do you feel?

the most painstaking, humorless people in the world (lukas), Wednesday, 1 July 2015 23:13 (ten years ago)

Good. Hoping to get serious miles in this month up to Ride London on 2nd August.

Let's go, FIFA! (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Thursday, 2 July 2015 10:40 (ten years ago)

As opposed to the unserious miles last month.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Thursday, 2 July 2015 13:43 (ten years ago)

They were frivolous.

Let's go, FIFA! (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Thursday, 2 July 2015 19:21 (ten years ago)

four weeks pass...

A whopping 646 miles for July, plus I'll be doing well over 100 more tomorrow

Let's go, FIFA! (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Saturday, 1 August 2015 17:21 (ten years ago)

704.7 mi and 37,873 ft for July, a lot of commuting though.

wishy washy hippy variety hour (Hunt3r), Saturday, 1 August 2015 17:34 (ten years ago)

117 more today. I'm shattered.

232 for July; weddings and weekends away and poor weather. I never do much in July. Hopefully I can do more in August.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Monday, 3 August 2015 11:13 (ten years ago)

four weeks pass...

394 for August, not great considering I did 117 on the second day of the month

Let's go, FIFA! (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Monday, 31 August 2015 17:03 (ten years ago)

A piddling 92 for August (although Strava ate maybe 10+ miles of commuting by being shit); two vomiting bugs, family commitments, inclement weather, and other circumstances.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Tuesday, 1 September 2015 12:57 (ten years ago)

Since I been in the hospital since I got ranned over Aug 5 night, it was about 80mi. The future of riding and lots of stuff is pretty unknown- like said, i'm still in a hospital, but I'm getting by at least. lot's of great support and help for sure.

wishy washy hippy variety hour (Hunt3r), Wednesday, 2 September 2015 13:55 (ten years ago)

oh no! i guess i missed this --- that's awful news, Hunt3r, i really hope things are moving forward for you, however slowly

jason waterfalls (gbx), Wednesday, 2 September 2015 16:35 (ten years ago)

Shit - sorry to hear that

Let's go, FIFA! (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Wednesday, 2 September 2015 19:09 (ten years ago)

Shit, I hadn't noticed that either. Get well dude, that's awful.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Thursday, 3 September 2015 09:57 (ten years ago)

Oh man, so sorry to hear that. Get well and let us know how you're doing.

the most painstaking, humorless people in the world (lukas), Thursday, 3 September 2015 22:50 (ten years ago)

thx all, gonna visit my home for the first time this weekend (a month exactly), I'm pretty stoked.

wishy washy hippy variety hour (Hunt3r), Friday, 4 September 2015 16:11 (ten years ago)

four weeks pass...

231 for September.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Saturday, 3 October 2015 04:51 (ten years ago)

138 mi. on trainer, it's so dif from how I've ever done it. I can read, really watch tv or surf...there is like, no objective happening with the bike but the 'just keep going easy.' Z

wishy washy hippy variety hour (Hunt3r), Saturday, 3 October 2015 12:47 (ten years ago)

How are you now?

Let's go, FIFA! (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Saturday, 3 October 2015 19:51 (ten years ago)

OK, thanks! basically, trying hard to recover many bits of normal life, but it is not an easy recovery, physically or mentally.

wishy washy hippy variety hour (Hunt3r), Saturday, 3 October 2015 23:55 (ten years ago)

All the best, stick in there.

387 for me for Sept.

Let's go, FIFA! (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Sunday, 4 October 2015 20:18 (ten years ago)

Yeah, all the best dude. I have no idea what happened beyond what you've said here, obviously, but if it's as bad as it sounds and you're back on a trainer already that's good going, I think.

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Monday, 5 October 2015 08:31 (ten years ago)

three weeks pass...

32 miles on Sunday morning took me to 2,001 for the year so far, meaning I've hit the post-baby target I set for myself. Admittedly, a huge chunk of those miles have come as commuting rather than epic weekend adventures, but beggars can't be choosers.

Is it possible to get another 500 done before the end of December, I wonder?

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Monday, 26 October 2015 10:44 (ten years ago)

Just under 300 for October, but my end of year slump has arrived now - all enthusiasm for cycling is draining away as the weather turns...

Lionel Richie the Wardrobe (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Monday, 2 November 2015 08:26 (ten years ago)

167 for October.

It's probably not possible to get 500 more before year-end; my weekends are massively booked-up this month...

Hey Bob (Scik Mouthy), Tuesday, 3 November 2015 12:01 (ten years ago)

343 all indoors and good god it's not fun for me anymore

wishy washy hippy variety hour (Hunt3r), Tuesday, 3 November 2015 17:48 (ten years ago)

How are you doing?

Lionel Richie the Wardrobe (Nasty, Brutish & Short), Tuesday, 3 November 2015 22:11 (ten years ago)

Holding in there, lots of steps, thanks. Physically, I'm improved but parts of the damage are kinda, just done, you know?

Strava shows my first real independent ride today, as I had to drop off my ballot. Doc and therapists signed off on riding ability yesterdy. Between the need to actually deliver the ballot, and the facts that I could bikepath the whole 10 miles and also that 75 f'ing gorgeous degrees goes away after today (maybe til next May), I was committed to riding.

wishy washy hippy variety hour (Hunt3r), Tuesday, 3 November 2015 23:17 (ten years ago)

four weeks pass...

239 for november
