what is it?!

What caused the accident? Are you okay?

braking, like a fool, just after going over a big drop-off that you can't even see on the video.

the first anachronism i noticed was "environmentally friendly" at 30s. that just didnt seem like 1979 as i remembered it. then i saw girl's glasses and i knew it was fake.

i should have noticed the shocks and flatbars as tip off.

Need fixed gear valve covers (NoPo)

I bought a fixed gear and i keep having to fill up the tires. It did not come with covers for the air valves so I need some because this is getting aggravating. I'd prefer some NJS covers but will consider anything good. Thanks

shartin jort (am0n), Thursday, 17 December 2009 18:51 (sixteen years ago)

"There are people who are trying to play that the nudity is the issue, but it's not," he said. "The main concern is the safety of our kids. There are lot of institutions and families on that Bedford Avenue stretch, and we are always really concerned about the kids being picked up and dropped off. There are sometimes small accidents where the cyclists are violating the law because they don't stop for flashing school buses."

actually can dig what he means

Meteor Crater (jdchurchill), Thursday, 17 December 2009 18:57 (sixteen years ago)

oh, right, save the children. do you live in the area? hasids routinely jump in front of cars against the green lights.

also, they've effectively made it less safe for cyclists, who will continue to use that stretch of bedford avenue, bike lane or not.

crazy shituations (cutty), Thursday, 17 December 2009 19:39 (sixteen years ago)

what i'm trying to say is, the removal of the bike lane is not going to stop people from using that street. it is a ridiculous assertion.

especially in conjunction w/his preceding quote:

"Every time someone gets dropped you think "well I lasted longer than him". It’s like a ramp test or the beep test. You don’t think you can possibly last any longer, but you do. And every time someone drops out, you get a buzz out of it."--Bradley Wiggins
