Ok, let's say a thread you've bookmarked is bumped because of a spam message. Now, you bookmark the spam message to make the thread disappear from your "...has new messages" list. But then the spam message gets deleted. However, your bookmark of the spam message will still remain, and the thread will appear on your "...has new messages" lists, and you can't get rid of it until someone writes a new message which you can then bookmark. The same happens if a message is deleted for any other reason.
Would it be possible to get rid of these phantom bookmarks? If a message is deleted, can you make it so that the bookmark jumps back to previous message, and the phantom bookmark of the deleted message disappears?

i'm also seeing this
specifically:
Should I sell my comics?
Abbott's Comix
both from 'i love comics' if that helps.

ok, deleted spam messages, that makes some sense.
of course if someone should post to those threads then the spell will be broken...

Oh, so that's why! Well spotted, Tuomas. I have this w/Abbott's Comix too, noticed it once before with the thread called "notes".
