I may be minorly creeped out at times, but you can always expect 100% kenan material from kenan

well no one is denying that Kenan can also be super creepy

I just appreciate that he lets me make jokes about his creepiness without seeming to get overly upset

he definitely can be. He (tried to?) add a friend of mine on FB because her last name is his first! But I do admire honesty.

I have bit my tongue so hard on many a KH Facebook post. Just when I'm about to say something, I'm like "Oh yeah, this isn't ILX." Kinda like following the guy home and teasing him as he's sitting on his toilet.

Though knowing Kenan, he'd probably get a kick out of that.

I was not quite a fan of his faux-libertarian stylings

remembering mid-period ile is weird -- i tuned out for a huge swath of the mid-2000s. now i think we have a moderate zing-culture with a pretty decent respect for personal boundaries, which is a much more pleasant way to waste time. part of this is maybe people just got older and sort of grew up.

it's nice to get to know people without having to see their underwear

I can see why some folks would find the underwear thread odd, but back then it was more like innocent fun, and that's still the way I feel about it. It's not like there was some peer pressure to get every ILXor to post their underwear pics there, I assume most of the ones who did were a bit on the exhibitionist side anyway. AFAIK those pics haven't been used for any creepy purposes, and many of the people who posted them ended up taking them down from their Photobucket accounts (or wherever they were hosted) once the thread had run out of steam. I have nothing but fond memories of the thread and of that era of ILX. Okay, so one of the pics turned out to be fake later on, big deal.
