He'd be in 10th grade this fall if what she said in her last email to me was true (starting 5th in 2007). Kinda seemed like her mother was the primary caregiver but now it seems like the hubby might've been. Who knows? Guessing he's ok. A few of us had her figured out by fall 2003 but didn't have any proof/didn't care enough to say anything.

Husband said he's been crying about her being a wreck lately. Them getting divorced is good in the long term but has to be tough on him now.
My SF failed meet up was Jan/Feb 2004. I knew she heavily flirted with other ILXors before and after that, but had no idea of the extent of things. Exchanging of notes didn't happen at all until Lunagate I.

The failed SF meet up, which she told me about, was damning and not surprising. By then I was hoping people would've figured out what was going on. During 2004 I stopped paying as much attention to ILX and was off AIM and was horrified when I found out where things went. When it all blew up I was relieved.

She never did ever admit to me to lying about SF. What'd she tell you about it?

Like I said before I think chaki and I talking behind the scenes (maybe w some others?) about tep was maybe what did it. Don't know how that situation exactly played out but I believe he did cut it off w her right away thankfully.

If I remember correctly (it was a long time ago and I erased almost all record of our contact off-board) she said she was kinda creeped out by the idea of meeting up and made up an excuse, which I thought fit in with her pattern. I think I assumed you would've gotten her to admit to it eventually. Guess not.

Very glad you had those discussions, omar.

Part of why I stayed in contact was hoping she'd admit it one day haha. One by one, she told me every other guy on ILX she talked to off-board creeped her out.

I also remember jbdules being in there and drawing our attn to an lj post Luna had made in which she praised her support system in life one by one - every person mentioned was an ilxor. It was v weird. j was like, I just found this weird cause we only chatted a few times at that point. So, even ladies of ILX were comparing notes at that time

that was the best hour for Luna-sleuthing because the crisis had popped off but EVERYTHING WAS STILL UP

Yeah I think the links to it are either on this thread or the water cooler thread - I saw them the other day and they still work. Def saw the list of her BFFs.

It's funny: I got my last email from her what seemed like minutes before shit blew up, apologizing for treating me poorly, which I thought was weird since I don't think she had.

I'm surprised at the response this has generated - I didn't think
taking a break would be construed as fleeing the scene, but I guess I
was wrong. I've read most of what's been said, and while I will
neither confirm nor deny any of the accusations here, I do invite any
of the offended parties - and only the offended parties - to
email me and we can discuss things. I say 'only the offended parties'
because that's fair, and because I'm not interested in getting a bunch
of hate mail from people who are not now and have never been involved
with me in any way, shape or form. Also, I don't think that the
people on the board who have nothing to do with any of this don't need
to be mired in the middle of this shit any further than y'all have
forced them to be already.

I would point out that many of the things you think you know are plain
wrong, some are partial or half truths, most are not the whole stories
as well. You would know this had you bothered to ask anyone who was
directly involved and not just picked up a torch and joined the witch
hunt. I'm not saying there is no truth whatsoever in anything that's
been said. Have I had close relationships with people on ILx? I have.
Have I, during the course of those friendships, done and said things
ro hurt those people? I've done that, too. I'm not perfect, and I've
always been willing to admit that.

To all of you, though, I am not the only ILXor whom no one has met,
just because I do not post pictures often or ever with my dogs and son
does not mean I do not exist, just because you think you might know
someone who knows something about someone else does not give you
license to shit all over the person you think is in the wrong, whether
or not you think you are 'sticking up for' your friends. You are
privy to as much of my life as I will allow, as I am to yours, and
what I choose to do with my time/who I choose to meet is really none
of your concern. Again, if you are someone who feels hurt by me or
something I've done, please, come to me and let's talk about it. I've
never maliciously or intentionally hurt any one of you (except that
time I called jess a bitter asshole or whatever, because I totally
meant it at the time, but regretted it later, and I'm pretty sure I
apologized for being a bitch).

To the rest of you, I apologize if any of you have been upset or hurt
by any of this, I appreciate that people stuck up for me, and I really
