I sent her an xmas card one year. She said shed send me one. Didnt, of course. at the time I wondered where my card had ended up but now that gmaps exists I can at least confirm she gave me a legit street adress, at least (not where she lives now, it would appear).

I sent various ppl cards that year fwiw, I never had any close dealings or rea interest in her as a person. A lot of ilxors are happy to occasionally send platitudes or hellos, you tend not to think much of it, I didnt anyway.

I feel pretty bad for her kid tbqh, quite the mother to devote work and family time to snowing folks online. Maybe she at least have the kid some of those cookies?

She said he did but what's the TRUTH?? She pretty much made him take a backseat to her (disastrously failed) quest to win back her HS bf. Don't know how much he liked it in LA but uprooting cross country at that age is tough no matter what.

He'd be in 10th grade this fall if what she said in her last email to me was true (starting 5th in 2007). Kinda seemed like her mother was the primary caregiver but now it seems like the hubby might've been. Who knows? Guessing he's ok. A few of us had her figured out by fall 2003 but didn't have any proof/didn't care enough to say anything.

I figured anything I could have said back then would have been merely snarled at by her legions plus like I said I was pretty new around here then. Wish some of us had a compare n contrast back then though.

I think that general feeling, omar, was one of the things that led to 77, if I remember the discussions correctly, though by the time it was actually made the rationale had morphed into something else.

I feel like ilx used to be a lot more anonymous, except when it wasn't -- off-board. Stuff like that makes it seem like having a reasonable sense of community on-board is a good thing so that interactions don't exist in a vacuum on cuddlestein mountain

one of the things that led to 77 was my discovery of a secret board called "ILX Haven" which I assume was created for all the ILX Heaven folks. I couldn't read any of the threads but I was able to dig up some of the thread titles using the bookmark feature & some of them included names from the ILX Heaven crew.

I have to lol at folks having been aghast at 77 when at least everyone knew it existed from day 1 afaik. Is haven still existent?

Haven wasn't ever for Heaven types; that was a pun because *I* needed a haven, like. Some of my friends were on it. That board's not used now, hasn't been for years.

The only private boards that get any sort of use are 77 and the K3v, er, Mod Discussion Board

Husband said he's been crying about her being a wreck lately. Them getting divorced is good in the long term but has to be tough on him now.
My SF failed meet up was Jan/Feb 2004. I knew she heavily flirted with other ILXors before and after that, but had no idea of the extent of things. Exchanging of notes didn't happen at all until Lunagate I.

The failed SF meet up, which she told me about, was damning and not surprising. By then I was hoping people would've figured out what was going on. During 2004 I stopped paying as much attention to ILX and was off AIM and was horrified when I found out where things went. When it all blew up I was relieved.

She never did ever admit to me to lying about SF. What'd she tell you about it?

Like I said before I think chaki and I talking behind the scenes (maybe w some others?) about tep was maybe what did it. Don't know how that situation exactly played out but I believe he did cut it off w her right away thankfully.

If I remember correctly (it was a long time ago and I erased almost all record of our contact off-board) she said she was kinda creeped out by the idea of meeting up and made up an excuse, which I thought fit in with her pattern. I think I assumed you would've gotten her to admit to it eventually. Guess not.

Part of why I stayed in contact was hoping she'd admit it one day haha. One by one, she told me every other guy on ILX she talked to off-board creeped her out.
