kev how many times have you had to backtrack and apologise to mods after unfairly criticising them? I'm guessing it's running into dozens now. You should maybe take that into account before adopting the usual injured innocence imo.

well i was a bit pissed that it had been 5 hours and nothing had been done about something that was incredibly gross & plainly bannable

can we assume J0rd has spent a) more or b) less than 5 hours putting together a list of every time Morbz has called for another poster's death or multiple posters' deaths, so that the mods can add up all of those and give him three days for every instance?

one poster wished death on a sick poster and 5 hours later was still posting, y'all were slacking. sorry.

i'll just preface this by saying that i don't mind being called out like this, i'm a reasonable guy and can take it like i dish it

but for the record the only time i can recall ever having to retract my mod criticism was on that "why was morbs banned" thread a couple of months ago. i didn't have all the facts (because posts were deleted) so i acted on bad infos. i apologized to dan yesterday for driving him up a wall for a couple years because i regretted that circumstance made an ilx enemy out of someone i otherwise think is cool. because he WAS an awful mod. but honestly i think there's been one, maybe two visible mods since I started posting here that aren't pretty bad at modding. i don't personally dislike any of the mods we feud with; the problem is ~mod culture~, not the mods themselves. last night i regretted people thinking i was using the incident yesterday just to needle the mods, because i saw how a reasonable person could have made that conclusion. but i didn't retract anything i said. and our only decent mod ended up making the right decision, so all is good

tldr - i resent d-mac's implication that i agree with mods more lately :)

I think what happened here was that there simply weren't enough mods present at the time of the comment - with their ranks thinned by one more, the problem is only going to be exacerbated from now on. the obvious answer is that we need more mods. I nominate some dude.
