Right now my working theory is that if you have been banned from a subboard, there's a bug where your ban is being counted in some tables but not registering in others; I just checked and darraghmac had been banned from The Church and Kate had the self-ban on ILTMI so I removed the bans and asked them to try again and it seems to work now.
This is a pretty big bug but I think now that we've got an idea of what's going on, it can be addressed. The upshot seems to be as follows:
- your bans are going through but we are having problems seeing them- there's an off-chance this might be affecting the webmail as well? dunno
