i was nominating me and my sister because we used to work at a reproductive clinic and had to talk about oozing infected vaginas and gross dicks on a daily. reading TMI is as routine as eating breakfast for us.

lol Heather that's pretty much why I said I wouldn't mind doing it. That sort of thing is like nothing to me because of work etc.

The original mods were Kate, me, and Roxy. Roxy's mod powers were taken away when she banned Kate, I was under the assumption they'd been given back to her, but I'm not sure anymore. And I guess Kate's mod rights have been revoked, since you're a mod now.

Yeah, I wasn't really serious when I suggested that yesterday. :/ That said, I am more than happy to do it.

I don't think ILTMI needs that many mods as it is. But my idea was that it should be opened to unregistered posters again, and in that case there probably should be a couple more mods, on different time zones, in case there'll be spam.

Varies by board, but the range is zero to four mods per board. Current ILTMI mods are Tuomas, Kate and ENBB.

Was there tons of spam last time? I mean, I've posted on ILTMI under a different username. It's not that complicated to log out and back in and if the spam really was that unmanageable maybe it's best left as is?

there was a ton of spam (and some anon abuse leveled at other ILXORS) last time around, and lots of it ended up getting cleaned up by sitewides, which is why ILTMI went non-anon last time, and that may just be an unfortunate truth again

also in case this is slipping through the cracks here, Kate currently has mod powers on ILTMI - i think we still need to hash out the issues upthread but you know time zones and other countries and stuff.
