ENBB for Il Duce of ILTMI is a brilliant idea.

1. ENBB would, without doubt, be a great iltmi mod.
2. A anti-Kate pile-on* seems cruel and this thread should have been locked a while ago but
3. A discussion of modding rights/responsibilities, board ownership laws in general is probably a good idea. But maybe not now when people seem quite so het up over a couple of specific issues.

I found the clitoris chat interesting and agree that locking the thread was an overreaction - didn't see any deleted threads but that seems not cool. plus I miss the days of "logged out" personal posts and ILTMI is the last bastion of that, so I am glad to see a hands-off approach defended

but I also thought Kenan's "pile of bullshit" line was a bit harsh since Kate's initial post was something I've heard from a few bio-sci postgrads (interested to read it's not really like that after all), plus "nobody wants to read you posting about sex" is a revealing zing from ILX's champion TMI poster, so I am a little sad at the one-sidedness of this pile-on

but Kenan has apologised over there and ENBB is good people so I guess it's all worked out OK, so, carry on

Yeah, some sitewide mod closed it for unregistered posters because of spam, but I suggested we should check out if ILTMI mods can handle deleting spam, and I got the idea that unregistered posting would be allowed again, but I think this never happened... Or did it?

I still think you should allow unregistered posting and see if us mods can handle any spam, but if the spam gets out of hand, then you can change it back to registered only. But for this to work it'd probably be good to appoint one or two more mods for ILTMI, in different time zones possibly. Are ENBB and I now the only mods there? Didn't Roxy get her mod privileges back?

Well, the other side to that is that if people really wanted to post something they were uncomfortable posting under their real government ilxor name, they could always create a sock. Like if they reallllly wanted to tell their side of the anal-fisting story or whatever.

The Robinson sisters should also be mods on TMI, imo
