jhos, cankles used up pretty much every vestige of mod goodwill with his last sitewide ban. The only reason he's still here is because an incredibly vocal contingent like him. I, personally, am not going to cry any tears if a moderator was less-than-unrufflable when dealing with him, particularly since his offenses are blatantly obvious to anyone with a passing grasp on how to be polite to someone else.

i dont think joe "wants" anything; i think hes offering a tip to mods who are hoping to have smooth relations with posters going forward

i dont think hes wrong either. improved poster-mod relations recently i think have a lot to do with mods going out of their way to be fairly dispassionate instead of bitter rageaholics
