I have to wonder how much is Aaron Rodgers success is that he got to sit for a couple of years before having to be the main QB. It's kind of a rare thing for many first round QBs now.

I think it's an interesting discussion. That versus Ben who goes straight in, no bench riding. And it can easily go haywire when you let someone ride the bench too long, maybe they don't have what you wanted after all, or you put someone in too soon and they can never meet expectations.
