the season is kicking off with some p decent prime time games. kc-pats, hawks-pack, nyg-boys, lac-den should all be good contests.

my prediction for week 1 is that the vikes beat up on the saints and set early season trajectories for both teams

just finagled my way into getting on the field with a choir singing the national anthem at a jets/fins game in week three; i have mixed feelings

Not sure where else to post about it and it probably doesn't deserve it's own post, but it is pretty funny that you got two crazy stories about sports radio/tv going on right now.

I saw that Boomer Esiason's partner Craig Carton got picked up by the FBI today and this is after ESPN's Ryen Russillo got blasted drunk, naked and broke into someone's place. Both of those stories gave me a chuckle.

there's been like half a dozen truly abject offensive performances today. nfl will have to shrink to an 8 team league to match the available qb and o line talent.

sucks about johnson. that doesn't leave az with much of an offense. jags' allen robinson also probably done for the season and bears' kevin white dead again. on top of eric berry that's a pretty crappy first week for season ending injuries.
