Roberto Spiralli, Friday, 9 December 2016 04:31 (two years ago) Permalink

raiders played the end of that drive like they knew they wouldn't score.

Roberto Spiralli, Friday, 9 December 2016 04:32 (two years ago) Permalink

well they played that like they're not used to being in games that matter in december, which...

Carr looked good in 2 minute drill before half time. Big thing was not getting TD after the fumble to start second half. Crashed and missed 4th quarter.

earlnash, Friday, 9 December 2016 17:12 (two years ago) Permalink

I haven't really been a believer in this "GB can win out and make the playoffs" nonsense but if they beat Seattle I'll be on board

frogbs, Friday, 9 December 2016 17:13 (two years ago) Permalink

also not his fault he thrwe a perfect TD pass to Cooper for him to weirdly lose the ball in the air?

Spottie, Friday, 9 December 2016 17:17 (two years ago) Permalink

GB winning out vs. Colts?

I think Colts got a better shot. Detroit isn't great but they seem solid in all facets.

earlnash, Friday, 9 December 2016 17:25 (two years ago) Permalink

No fucking way is Green Bay beating Seattle. They suck.

Mr. Snrub, Friday, 9 December 2016 19:32 (two years ago) Permalink

You got to be hardcore to sit out and watch the Browns today. Browns D has actually played a bit better than the score indicates.

earlnash, Sunday, 11 December 2016 19:39 (two years ago) Permalink

lol okay

FREE BRADY (daria-g), Sunday, 11 December 2016 20:45 (two years ago) Permalink

lol the eagles just kicked a field goal with their linebacker as the long-snapper

and made it

k3vin k., Sunday, 11 December 2016 20:47 (two years ago) Permalink

Roberto Spiralli, Sunday, 11 December 2016 20:48 (two years ago) Permalink

that's a catch

mookieproof, Sunday, 11 December 2016 20:51 (two years ago) Permalink

lol this whole game is bullshit they've gotten a million calls in their favor

Mordy, Sunday, 11 December 2016 20:53 (two years ago) Permalink

that behind the back call against ertz during that sproles td run for pretty egregious - as was a number of flagrant missed holding calls against washington

jets 49ers game seems to be a high watermark for pro ball

some respect to petty tho for not falling apart after his first play interception and guiding them back from 14-0

Roberto Spiralli, Monday, 12 December 2016 00:21 (two years ago) Permalink

Ugh, hate to see the 49ers still in the running for Myles Garrett.

Mr. Snrub, Monday, 12 December 2016 01:29 (two years ago) Permalink

Got to say even winless the Browns seem less lost than the Rams at this point. I just don't get how you can give Fisher an extension, have Goff duff it, get rolled at home that bad and can look the fans straight in the face and try to sell season tickets in LA.

Only way it makes sense is that the Rams were duffing it to get out of St. Louis and they had an agreement with Fisher he would be retained no matter how sXXt it got and given a fresh start in LA.

Looks terrible either way.

odell beckham waving like the queen of england after that TD <3

where are the gifs?

FREE BRADY (daria-g), Monday, 12 December 2016 03:50 (two years ago) Permalink

My take on NFL 2016 is that teams should just try to run the ball more often.

I watched most of the Browns/Bengals game today and it seems stupid that Crowell only got 10 carries. I think he should have carried the ball like 25 times and if he had done so from the start, it might have been a different game.

earlnash, Monday, 12 December 2016 04:17 (two years ago) Permalink

“There’s a lot of different scenarios that we talk through at the time as we were working across, there were some different players who were graded equally,” said Nick Caserio, the Patriots director of player development. “I think the thing that tipped the scales in Cyrus’ favor a little bit was his overall versatility – punt return – that’s a huge component of what we do and we thought he had the ability.

The NFL on Tuesday announced the match-ups for its four regular-season games in London for the 2017 season.

The Baltimore Ravens will play the Jacksonville Jaguars and the New Orleans Saints will play the Miami Dolphins in Wembley Stadium, while the Minnesota Vikings will play the Cleveland Browns and the Arizona Cardinals will play the Los Angeles Rams in Twickenham Stadium.

exciting matchups innit

mookieproof, Tuesday, 13 December 2016 14:02 (two years ago) Permalink

saints fins will probably be high scoring. that's as good as it'll get tho

Roberto Spiralli, Tuesday, 13 December 2016 14:50 (two years ago) Permalink

inching closer to the nfl demanding london build it a stadium

mookieproof, Tuesday, 13 December 2016 14:58 (two years ago) Permalink

London Jaguars does have a good ring to it.

earlnash, Tuesday, 13 December 2016 16:58 (two years ago) Permalink

do they deliberately put the worst games in london?

k3vin k., Tuesday, 13 December 2016 17:32 (two years ago) Permalink

a lot of teams aren't willing to give up a home game so each game is usually going to have a weaker team

Roberto Spiralli, Tuesday, 13 December 2016 17:35 (two years ago) Permalink

do ppl there care @ all? I always picture some mass ticket and jersey giveaway to get the stadiums filled; or is it diabolically part of a soccer team season tix package or smethign?

johnny crunch, Tuesday, 13 December 2016 17:49 (two years ago) Permalink

it's the musical guests, surely

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NFL_International_Series#Game_history

mookieproof, Tuesday, 13 December 2016 17:54 (two years ago) Permalink

i believe the games still sell out quickly. there is a core nfl fandom that wants the opportunity to see a live game. pushing to 4 in a season is going to reveal a lot in terms of really knowing the breadth and depth of that. they are selling a mini season ticket for all 4 and i'd be interested the see the take up on that.

Roberto Spiralli, Tuesday, 13 December 2016 17:55 (two years ago) Permalink

some of those musical acts are such bizarre choices for the UK, like they didn't even try. i'm not sure train has sold a record there.

Roberto Spiralli, Tuesday, 13 December 2016 17:58 (two years ago) Permalink

conversely, the osu marching band is never out of the top 40
