wildcard: road wins
divisional: home wins

chiefs, cardinals, panthers, broncos

tough to pick against Brady & co in the playoffs vs an inexperienced squad (especially with Edelman coming back) but KC feels like the one AFC team that can give them trouble

and the raiders are getting a consolation prize of $$$$$$

polyphonic, Wednesday, 13 January 2016 00:52 (eight years ago) link

so after having 20 years of zero teams theyre gonna have two and two other cities are gonna have none this plan seems poor

howre los angeles residents gonna decide who to root for its too much for them to handle pretty sure

lag∞n, Wednesday, 13 January 2016 00:55 (eight years ago) link

tho it is kinda interesting that all three teams have played in LA before

lag∞n, Wednesday, 13 January 2016 00:56 (eight years ago) link

move em all there i say start a new league where they just play each other

lag∞n, Wednesday, 13 January 2016 00:56 (eight years ago) link

oakland makes the most sense to move since the bay already has a team thats the most sensitive approach imo

They're going to keep rooting for the Raiders, the only team anyone there cares about.

well sadder for a lot of the people around him and his destruction was self inflicted but i think it's always sad to see such a relentless unstoppable accelerated decline to oblivion.

yesterday a judge found that there was enough evidence to try phillips for his cellmate's murder so i guess he figured that was that.

(was about to say condolences to spottie & other niners fans but tbh sure he might be decent for that team, long as they keep him away from GM decisions?)

it's completely crazy that the broncos won that game otoh the pats are going to blow them off the earth

J0rdan S., Monday, 18 January 2016 02:50 (eight years ago) link

tbh this was prob the worst thing that could happen to the broncos longterm if it in anyway convinces them to bring peyton back next year

J0rdan S., Monday, 18 January 2016 02:52 (eight years ago) link

the broncos at this point are basically like that ravens team that won the super bowl with trent dilfer at qb

J0rdan S., Monday, 18 January 2016 02:55 (eight years ago) link

i don't think edging a beat-up 6-seed at home and getting blown off the earth by the patritos is gonna convince them to bring peyty back

dilfer won a super bowl; peyton just won a quarterfinal

mookieproof, Monday, 18 January 2016 03:22 (eight years ago) link

apparently peyton has only thrown 1 td at home this season

you can't drop a pass that's not catchable

a little too mature to be cute (Aimless), Monday, 18 January 2016 19:38 (eight years ago) link

yeah I disagree with that, some of the throws sailed a bit but by and large they were right in the receivers hands

really just rooting for either team on the NFC side, love Cam, love Fitz, kinda want to see Carson get one just because of how crazy that sounds

frogbs, Monday, 18 January 2016 19:41 (eight years ago) link

better play better than he has the last couple games

lag∞n, Monday, 18 January 2016 19:44 (eight years ago) link

peyton was throwing balls at guys' knees and shoulders all day, those passes are technically catchable sure but drops are what happen when you throw balls like that

J0rdan S., Monday, 18 January 2016 19:49 (eight years ago) link

several of those dropped passes were plenty catchable

Looked to me that Manning had a bit more zip on some of his passes than earlier this year. I think NE will probably stack in close and maybe try to force him to throw deep.

I think even as is, Denver has a better shot than KC did. Broncos got a better pass rush and skills guys. Got to figure Me is favorite but I could believe Denver could win.

yeah he was throwing tons of wobblers that were "catchable" but increased the difficulty curve for the receiver.

Arizona's touchdown drive that ate up most of the 4th quarter was one of the most painful I've ever had to watch as a Packer fan - I counted two picks that were dropped, two 3rd downs picked up by less than an inch, a bunch of missed offensive holding calls, and a touchdown thrown off a lineman's helmet. GB's had some real frustrating playoff losses since the SB win.

frogbs, Monday, 18 January 2016 23:27 (eight years ago) link

the missed calls were v bad.

giving up that 75 yard play in the OT game-winning drive was also v bad.
