some incredibly weird turnovers in this game

frogbs, Tuesday, 15 November 2022 03:53 (three years ago)

oh man. sure.

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 November 2022 04:04 (three years ago)

pretty lame ending, Heinecke slid in such a weird way I don't blame the defenders for hitting him

frogbs, Tuesday, 15 November 2022 04:13 (three years ago)

nice of the referee for waiting until he started to stand up to blow the whistle, too

k3vin k., Tuesday, 15 November 2022 04:18 (three years ago)

Holy shit that Eagles turnover!

Three Rings for the Elven Bishop (Dan Peterson), Tuesday, 15 November 2022 04:43 (three years ago)

lol @ this guy thinking a domed stadium is the solution for 3-6 feet of snow

imagine building another outdoor stadium that costs $1,400,000,000... w taxpayers contributing $850,000,000!!!... as the league discusses the potential of you losing a home game due to snow

play in snow or don't build another outdoor stadium in the snowiest NFL city in America https://t.co/wWzNtPnztM

Lmaooo Tannehill never seen a fake like that

frogbs, Friday, 18 November 2022 01:59 (three years ago)

Rodgers just missing big throws tonight

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Friday, 18 November 2022 04:01 (three years ago)

he seems to be throwing where his guys are instead of where they're going to be, so his WRs have to suddenly twist their bodies and can't catch the ball. so weird to see him scramble around on these make-or-break 3rd & 7s and then chuck the ball to absolutely nobody. he's not even coming close on some of these.

two more TDs for Christian Watson though, which gives him the most for a Packers rookie in the last 40 years. he had 0 coming into last week. so I guess that's a positive.

also Tennessee ran a really cool trick play at the goal line with Henry...never actually seen anything like this before

Cool play - it even looks like the o-line created a little pocket for him.

brownie, Friday, 18 November 2022 16:21 (three years ago)

Jets had 7 total yards in the second half

frogbs, Sunday, 20 November 2022 22:20 (three years ago)

Never seen a 8-1 team look so overmatched. At home no less

frogbs, Sunday, 20 November 2022 23:22 (three years ago)

It's...not good

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Sunday, 20 November 2022 23:35 (three years ago)

xxp saw houston had 5 total yds 1st half

johnny crunch, Sunday, 20 November 2022 23:40 (three years ago)

Bengals offense is starting to look pretty good. O-line is getting better. They need to throw more to that Perine guy #34- he is brute.

Pickett is starting to look at bit better and if the Steelers had a better o-line/run game - he will do ok.

WTF Vikings...ouch. Everyone has been waiting on this one for weeks but I guess the magic bag was emptied out last week in Buffalo.

earlnash, Monday, 21 November 2022 00:53 (three years ago)

How the Vikings can get so outplayed after last week’s huge game is incredible to me. But they do it, season after season.

Three Rings for the Elven Bishop (Dan Peterson), Monday, 21 November 2022 01:42 (three years ago)

kinda seems like we're at the "wait which teams are good, again?" point of the season.

frogbs, Monday, 21 November 2022 02:39 (three years ago)

hold up. do the Chargers have a kicker named Dicker

frogbs, Monday, 21 November 2022 02:52 (three years ago)

whoa all time cool pick to seal the Chiefs/Chargers game. 2 Chiefs had a shot at it, collided into each other, then the ball bounced into the hands of a 3rd one

frogbs, Monday, 21 November 2022 04:22 (three years ago)

hard to tell how much the Lions play of the last two weeks is genuine improvement and how much is their opponent's own ineptitude.

leaning towards "they're turning a corner but aren't quite there yet"

lol and then they gave that up

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Thursday, 24 November 2022 20:45 (three years ago)

great, gonna hear about the Josh Allen redemption story even though he only really showed up in the fourth quarter.

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Thursday, 24 November 2022 20:48 (three years ago)

I mean sure but that was a hell of a throw. He’s clearly hurt

Goff had #84 wide open on that 3rd and 1 to win it. He just didn’t see it. Too bad would’ve been super cool for the Lions to go on a run here

frogbs, Thursday, 24 November 2022 20:51 (three years ago)

they mismanaged that whole drive. wasted a lot of time, so they only had one real deep shot that could get them anywhere near a touchdown. it seemed like they were content going to OT. then forgot they actually had to play defense for 20 seconds. how does someone get that wide open when you're dropping back that far.

I don't see rationally with division rivals, I see blood red. Miami gonna have to win Sunday to keep first by tiebreaker.

apparently Houston starting Kyle Allen instead of Davis Mills!

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Thursday, 24 November 2022 20:54 (three years ago)

Dear Giants,

If it is 4th and 1 - RUN THE BALL.

Your best player is Barkley, use him.

Earl.

earlnash, Friday, 25 November 2022 00:25 (three years ago)

I just cannot figure out how freaking soft NFL defenses have become that any lead with 20 seconds on a kickoff without some crazy long return is not safe.

Dallas' O-line is still playing dumb as a doorknobs. For as a big a road graters they have, they are still kings of the dumb bad false start and holding penalties.

earlnash, Friday, 25 November 2022 00:27 (three years ago)

I just cannot figure out how freaking soft NFL defenses have become that any lead with 20 seconds on a kickoff without some crazy long return is not safe.

this is also the second time in two games that someone let the Bills do that. ffs I know you can't just rush one person, drop everyone back 20 yards and 'keep it all in front of you' when defending against a field goal, but like you can still play to contain the pass without blitzing and selling out your second line.

this time around they had timeouts which helped because they could use the entire field, but it's not like you don't literally practice THESE SCENARIOS DURING THE WEEK

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Friday, 25 November 2022 00:31 (three years ago)

I guess some of that is the Bills getting some return mojo for blowing a game with 13 seconds last year in the playoffs. Some of that is that they have to play so hands off anymore that if they breathe too hard on the receiver it is a penalty.

earlnash, Friday, 25 November 2022 00:40 (three years ago)

there is that, yeah.

I was more annoyed that the Lions put themselves in that position to begin with. letting time tick off the clock, zero urgency, practically settling for the field goal even before Goff missed on that 3rd and 1. and honestly there it might have just been better to get the first down, call timeout, so you can take a few shots at end zone rather than just one.

their defense is the worst in the league, they're playing the Bills, they leave them 20 seconds and go "how bad could it be?" lol.

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Friday, 25 November 2022 00:41 (three years ago)

a few things about this season...

1) having an odd number of games is literally the dumbest thing, no other major American sport does it. soccer leagues don't do it. having an uneven amount of home and away games makes no sense. they should have either added two, or just kept it at 16.

2) shit like the Bucs being 5-5 and in first place and the 7-9 Seahawks getting in a few years ago makes me wish we just reduced to two divisions. the four divisions are just dumb at this point.

3) the parity this year reminds me of the early 2000s.

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Friday, 25 November 2022 00:47 (three years ago)

(i know they did the odd numbered games last year too, i'm gonna keep whining about it indefinitely)

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Friday, 25 November 2022 00:48 (three years ago)

the NFL's 16 game season was the perfect schedule. like a 32-team World Cup

symsymsym, Friday, 25 November 2022 01:27 (three years ago)

tbh go back to this or gtfo

mookieproof, Friday, 25 November 2022 03:05 (three years ago)

the vikings have been limp like that for 40 years

mookieproof, Friday, 25 November 2022 03:17 (three years ago)

ohhh I hate the fact that the Vikings got a 1st down out of that

frogbs, Friday, 25 November 2022 03:56 (three years ago)

Really rude for the Texans not to show up to the game today

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Sunday, 27 November 2022 19:37 (three years ago)

I know everyone is dunking on Rodgers this year but holy hell Russel Wilson might be putting up the worst Year 1 of a massive contract ever. How do you let this continue

frogbs, Sunday, 27 November 2022 20:15 (three years ago)

Bengals shut down Travis Henry to 38 yards on 17 carries. That will work.

earlnash, Sunday, 27 November 2022 21:04 (three years ago)

Russell has to currently be on pace to be one of the worst free agency signings ever. If he fixes things next year then ok but it's shocking how bad he's fallen off

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Monday, 28 November 2022 01:39 (three years ago)

Miami's Armstead (LT) injury thankfully just a pec strain, no tear

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Monday, 28 November 2022 01:39 (three years ago)

That did not stop my fellow Fins fans from screaming "season over" as they became 8-3 for the first time since 2001

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Monday, 28 November 2022 01:40 (three years ago)

btw why are you a dolphins fan as opposed to being a bucs fan?

i mean, i don't blame you! just curious about florida loyalties

mookieproof, Monday, 28 November 2022 01:48 (three years ago)

My grandpa, mostly. He moved down to FL in the 70s, before the Bucs existed, and he became a Fins fan. And then I took an interest in watching with him

It's funny cos then everyone assumes I like the Heat, the Hurricanes, the Marlins, lol fuck those teams. Dolphins my only Miami team of rooting interest

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Monday, 28 November 2022 03:03 (three years ago)

Christian Watson looks like a star in the making wow

frogbs, Monday, 28 November 2022 04:08 (three years ago)

xp cool

mookieproof, Monday, 28 November 2022 05:17 (three years ago)

butcher shop in my (brooklyn) neighborhood is all pro-chute and they're great but also they're yankees + jets fans?

come on, Antny

mookieproof, Monday, 28 November 2022 05:23 (three years ago)

wonder if I just watched Rodgers' last game

frogbs, Monday, 28 November 2022 15:10 (three years ago)

it's much worse than that!

The Broncos have agreed to trade quarterback Drew Lock, tight end Noah Fant, defensive lineman Shelby Harris, two first-round picks (2022 -- No. 9 overall -- and 2023), two second-round picks (2022 -- No. 40 overall -- and 2023) and a 2022 fifth-round selection to the Seahawks for Wilson and a 2022 fourth-round pick, sources said.

― mookieproof, Thursday, November 24, 2022 9:17 PM (four days ago) bookmarkflaglink

the vikings have the 7th highest winning percentage of all nfl franchises, it's not a lions thing - it's the build up/crushing disappointment that gets you, they have generally been good teams that's the problem.

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Monday, 28 November 2022 19:16 (three years ago)

Xpost lol shit I forgot about all the trades. My god... wow

Fash Gordon (Neanderthal), Monday, 28 November 2022 20:14 (three years ago)

Yeah all that plus Seattle got out from his contract, near Herschal Walker territory
