fun/wtf facts:

bills just became the first team in 30 years with zero first-half rushes by a running back

this season the giants have been outscored 59-0 in the final two minutes of the first half

mookieproof, Sunday, 12 December 2021 23:05 (four years ago)

Buffalo being Super Bowl contenders seems like ages ago.

Please fucking Lord don't give us a TB-NE Super Bowl

Making me miss Jakeem Grant. Who we traded for fumbling a kick return

hopefully this review helped someone (Neanderthal), Monday, 13 December 2021 03:35 (four years ago)

truly impressive how despite coaching a bad team with low expectations that no one actually cares about, urban meyer can continually make embarrassing headlines

mookieproof, Monday, 13 December 2021 03:40 (four years ago)

All time bonkers 2nd quarter tonight

frogbs, Monday, 13 December 2021 03:53 (four years ago)

so obj is good again, huh. sigh.

Mr. Snrub, Tuesday, 14 December 2021 02:58 (four years ago)

Kyler startin to make those crazy Russell Wilson type plays

frogbs, Tuesday, 14 December 2021 03:29 (four years ago)

Urban Meyer kicked one of his players?? lmao what a year he's having

frogbs, Thursday, 16 December 2021 03:18 (four years ago)

Welp I guess the saga is over

frogbs, Thursday, 16 December 2021 06:09 (four years ago)

you cannot call your kicker "dipshit" and then kick them (in the nfl, where they have agents)

accordion folder full of Zoobooks (Sufjan Grafton), Thursday, 16 December 2021 07:03 (four years ago)

what a shame

mookieproof, Thursday, 16 December 2021 13:09 (four years ago)

That's So Urban!(tm)

When Young Sheldon began to rap (forksclovetofu), Thursday, 16 December 2021 14:24 (four years ago)

athletic asking the big question

The worst NFL head coach ever?

Has anyone had a worse NFL coaching tenure than Urban Meyer, who went 2-11 in less than one season?

mookieproof, Thursday, 16 December 2021 15:05 (four years ago)

lmao kicking a kicker, the logic is sound

lag∞n, Thursday, 16 December 2021 16:11 (four years ago)

like punting a punter

symsymsym, Thursday, 16 December 2021 17:05 (four years ago)

Urban getting fired is so satisfying

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Thursday, 16 December 2021 18:53 (four years ago)

I do so wish that because he was fired "for cause" that he won't be paid another cent on his long term contract.

more difficult than I look (Aimless), Thursday, 16 December 2021 18:57 (four years ago)

kicker gets kicked. Fucker gets fucked.

accordion folder full of Zoobooks (Sufjan Grafton), Thursday, 16 December 2021 19:50 (four years ago)

gonna miss the drama

cool that waiting until now to fire him means the big college jobs have been filled; it'll be a long 11 months with no unpaid kids to bully

mookieproof, Thursday, 16 December 2021 20:07 (four years ago)

looks like we're on the cusp of a browns-out

frogbs, Friday, 17 December 2021 02:20 (four years ago)

Yeah, that was rough. The injury looked so innocuous, too. At first I thought he was down because he was upset by not making the catch. Was clear in the replay that the back of his head hit the turf.

beard papa, Friday, 17 December 2021 03:09 (four years ago)

13 starters out with Covid for the Browns.

brownie, Friday, 17 December 2021 19:17 (four years ago)

if the Colts make the playoffs I'd give Jonathan Taylor the MVP

frogbs, Sunday, 19 December 2021 04:45 (four years ago)

Lions up 17-0 on the Cardinals at half :o

frogbs, Sunday, 19 December 2021 19:24 (four years ago)

The #Jets had 3rd-and-15 and called such a cool play. Let's get crazy. pic.twitter.com/iqQBzeBf9R

frogbs, Sunday, 19 December 2021 19:57 (four years ago)

what the fuck is happening in Detroit

frogbs, Sunday, 19 December 2021 20:01 (four years ago)

That Jet play pissed me off

Fortunately they were very Jets in 2nd half and we won

1-7 start

Now 7-7

hopefully this review helped someone (Neanderthal), Sunday, 19 December 2021 21:33 (four years ago)

can you now admit that it was very cool

frogbs, Sunday, 19 December 2021 21:51 (four years ago)

No cos JETS

hopefully this review helped someone (Neanderthal), Sunday, 19 December 2021 22:00 (four years ago)

well yeah that's part of what made it so cool. you expect the Pats to execute something like that well, for the Jets that has fumble returned for a score written all over it.

frogbs, Sunday, 19 December 2021 22:02 (four years ago)

very dangerous play for sure, gotta love it tho

lag∞n, Sunday, 19 December 2021 23:15 (four years ago)

the woke mob canceled urban meyer

“Just society has changed. You think how hard you pushed. … I believe there is greatness in everybody and it’s the coach’s job to find that greatness however you do that. Positive encouragement. Pushing them to be greater, making them work harder, identifying flaws and trying to fix [them]. I think everything is so fragile right now. And that includes coaching staffs. When I got into coaching, coaches weren’t making this kind of money and they didn’t have agents. Everything is so fragile where it used to be team, team, team. I remember talking about it in a staff meeting three days ago. I got into this profession because I had the greatest high school coach and it was all about team. All about the huddle.”

mookieproof, Sunday, 19 December 2021 23:15 (four years ago)

Tyler Huntley playing really well vs. a pretty good GB defense. Pretty cool how the Ravens can run a lot of the same plays with him

frogbs, Sunday, 19 December 2021 23:22 (four years ago)

still baffled by this Lions team. they have 2 wins, 1 tie, and 1 game they probably should have won if not for a literal record-breaking field goal at the last second. all 4 of those were against teams with winning records! they just blew out a team that was the #1 seed in the NFC last week! would I be mistaken in thinking they could actually be somewhat decent next year if...they weren't so fucking cursed?

frogbs, Monday, 20 December 2021 03:00 (four years ago)

lions (2-11-1) have a better point differential than atlanta (6-8)

texans/jags/jets are truly awful but the texans *and* jets beat the titans, and the jags beat the bills *and* dolphins

parity is a hell of a thing. are there actually any truly good teams?

mookieproof, Monday, 20 December 2021 04:17 (four years ago)

i mean i might have said bucs but getting shut out at home by the taysoms is nagl

mookieproof, Monday, 20 December 2021 04:21 (four years ago)

I think the Packers are pretty good. they got their asses kicked Week 1, lost the Jordan Love game, and then lost an overtime game in Minnesota thanks to some truly bizarre officiating. Rodgers is playing arguably as good as he ever has. I would think after this week they'd be the favorites to win the Super Bowl.

speaking of Tampa laid a big ol' goose egg at home tonight against the Saints (who don't even have Sean Payton!). first time Brady has been shut out in like...14 years. usually when a QB this good starts playing awful you figure it's because the receivers are fucking up but idk who he was even trying to throw it to half the time. Saints definitely whipped out the ol' "come on, their QB is 44 years old" defense

frogbs, Monday, 20 December 2021 04:28 (four years ago)

oh. as you just mentioned.

anyway I think Brady might've lost the MVP to Rodgers this week but he'll be fine. Brady has a game like this every 2-3 years. gotta recalibrate the system, etc.
