idk if anything can match the heartbreak of that Seattle NFCCG but this is probably gonna be close

frogbs, Sunday, 24 January 2021 22:49 (five years ago)

apologies in a advance but GROOONK still love gronk

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 January 2021 22:51 (five years ago)

Brady a little premature in that spike

if Spaghetti-Os had whammy bars (Neanderthal), Sunday, 24 January 2021 22:53 (five years ago)

that dropped 2 point conversion is gonna be the difference isn't it

frogbs, Sunday, 24 January 2021 22:55 (five years ago)

Rodgers should have run; he wasn't going to make it, but he would have gotten right down there for a 4th and short.

Smokahontas and John Spliff (PBKR), Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:02 (five years ago)

If they converted that 2pt, they still would’ve kicked that field goal smh

voodoo chili, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:02 (five years ago)

i respect the refs have resolutely refused to call holds/interference

johnny crunch, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:02 (five years ago)

Why did they kick a FG? They're not going to get down that far again and they need a TD either way?

Smokahontas and John Spliff (PBKR), Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:03 (five years ago)

hoping brady throws them a 4th pick idk

johnny crunch, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:04 (five years ago)

the only explanation for why if this is that god loves tom brady and nobody else

voodoo chili, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:05 (five years ago)

*any of this not “why if this”

voodoo chili, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:06 (five years ago)

yeah this has the feeling of a McCarthy/Capers playoff game

Rodgers should've run for it, probably wouldn't have gotten in but they'd at least have gotten to the 2

frogbs, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:06 (five years ago)

but yeah that FG call was real fuckin dumb and it's weird given how willing LaFleur usually is to just go for it

frogbs, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:07 (five years ago)

packers were just taking shots didnt have a 4 down plan

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:08 (five years ago)

damn that was smart to encroach

johnny crunch, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:08 (five years ago)

not smart to accept the penalty haha

voodoo chili, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:09 (five years ago)

refs forced to throw a flag lmao

johnny crunch, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:10 (five years ago)

oh wow first flag of the half

voodoo chili, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:10 (five years ago)

welp

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:11 (five years ago)

Joe Buck also commentates football?

Van Horn Street, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:11 (five years ago)

oh my god FUCK YOU REFS

frogbs, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:12 (five years ago)

the way troy aikman calls the game it really highlights the role of the refs, a poor broadcast experience imo

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:14 (five years ago)

like who cares that the call is late guys shirt got pulled two feet behind him

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:15 (five years ago)

like I get that usually gets called but the Bucs have been holding everyone all game, including a very egregious one on THAT VERY SAME PLAY, and just now the refs decide to wake up, fuck this

frogbs, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:15 (five years ago)

lotsa holds both ways that couldve been flags imo

johnny crunch, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:16 (five years ago)

i wasnt watching super close but didnt see anything that absolutely needed to be called, lotta stuff that couldve, but that goes both ways

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:17 (five years ago)

lol imagine if the bills make the superbowl... and lose to brady... time to die

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:20 (five years ago)

haha

johnny crunch, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:21 (five years ago)

If Brady wins this SB the league should be sent to the phantom zone

if Spaghetti-Os had whammy bars (Neanderthal), Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:26 (five years ago)

thinkin about belichick sitting at home steaming, lol

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:27 (five years ago)

GB definitely got away with some stuff as well it's just super fucking irritating to have them suddenly decide to call something (and come on that was also a flop) they haven't all game while missing a more egregious hold on the other side

frogbs, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:27 (five years ago)

I'm just pissed off because pretty much all my worst fears about this game came true, all the fucking 3rd and longs they got, the last second TD, the fumble, all the moments of hope in the 2nd half allowing me to get my soul crushed TWICE, then everything coming down to questionable reffing allowing MAGA Brady to go to another fucking Super Bowl

frogbs, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:29 (five years ago)

actually I guess the game going to OT, Brady winning the flip and connecting with Gronk on a 3rd and 15 was kinda how I pictured this going

frogbs, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:30 (five years ago)

it’s fucking terrible and now he gets a super(spreader) bowl in his own stadium

voodoo chili, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:39 (five years ago)

I am rooting for whoever wins AFC match. Even if it's the Bills

if Spaghetti-Os had whammy bars (Neanderthal), Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:40 (five years ago)

im rooting for everyone to have a nice time

lag∞n, Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:44 (five years ago)

what a good year to not care about football

the serious avant-garde universalist right now (forksclovetofu), Sunday, 24 January 2021 23:45 (five years ago)

When we lost to Seattle at least you could say that was a fun team that people liked, losing to fucking Brady in a game that they could’ve won in like 6 different spots is gonna hurt for a long time. Might be Rodgers last shot at it too, they have a lot of decisions to make this offseason

Oh well go Bills

frogbs, Monday, 25 January 2021 00:07 (five years ago)

Anyway back to my regularly scheduled dumb observations

frogbs, Monday, 25 January 2021 00:43 (five years ago)

The Bills punter (Bojorquez) might have the highest Scrabble score in NFL Jersey history

frogbs, Monday, 25 January 2021 00:45 (five years ago)

I'm still just sitting here trying to understand what the hell the Packers were thinking

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Monday, 25 January 2021 00:47 (five years ago)

made no fn sense

lag∞n, Monday, 25 January 2021 00:49 (five years ago)

Ok here’s what I think his reasoning was

You score the TD, you still have to make 2 point conversion, stop Brady on the other side, then win in OT, each of which are 50/50 propositions

By kicking the FG you have to get a 3-and-out then go all out for the TD, and you win without having to worry about a 2pt conversion or overtime. Their defense had been stopping the run all day & Brady probably ain’t taking many risks on offense in that situation. And the Packers can definitely go 80 yards in 90 seconds even without a TO.

Still think it was the wrong decision but it’s not like an all time bad decision the way some people on Twitter are claiming

frogbs, Monday, 25 January 2021 00:57 (five years ago)

If Valdez Scantling holds onto that earlier 2 pointer I think he goes for it

frogbs, Monday, 25 January 2021 00:59 (five years ago)

Why the fuck would the Texans even think about trading Deshaun Watson, a top-ten QB with four years left on his deal?? They’d have to get like eight first-round picks to make it worth it. I don’t care how unhappy he is, he’s not sitting out the next four seasons, come the fuck on.

Back in 2004, Ricky Williams, the American football player, left the Miami Dolphins after a third strike for smoking weed and disappeared. He’d had a notable career besides, but this was the capper: He said goodbye to his coach from Hawaii and vanished off the face of the Earth.

wow

frogbs, Friday, 29 January 2021 23:16 (five years ago)

is that the guy who did the 30 for 30 about him?

That's not really my scene (I'm 41) (forksclovetofu), Saturday, 30 January 2021 04:43 (five years ago)

that's pretty fucking amazing.

also I will always <3 Ricky, even if he was like an on-again/off-again lover. he was his own man, he did whatever he felt like in the moment, and sometimes that changed ten minutes later
