mookieproof, Monday, 4 January 2021 04:29 (five years ago)

mookieproof, Tuesday, 5 January 2021 20:39 (five years ago)

It’s the 29th anniversary of the Detroit Lions last playoff win.

They beat the Cowboys 38-6 at the Pontiac Silverdome on January 5th, 1992 to earn a trip to NFC Championship Game.

It remains their ONLY playoff win since 1957. Incredible. pic.twitter.com/kxcnFJY9Hj

football coaches are fucking insane

Sean Payton said he suggested the idea of quarantining 50,000 Saints fans to create a scientifically-safe home-field advantage in the Superdome. ... Doesn't sound like he'll get his wish, but those wheels are always turning.

Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Wednesday, 6 January 2021 17:46 (five years ago)

I can guarantee you at least one coach has thought about planning an unfortunately timed Covid outbreak on an opposing team

frogbs, Wednesday, 6 January 2021 17:48 (five years ago)

"here coach Lafleur, you can borrow our footballs for warm-up"

Looking for Cape Penis house (Neanderthal), Wednesday, 6 January 2021 18:09 (five years ago)

Folks are we sure Pete Carroll isn’t one of the worst coaches in the league

frogbs, Sunday, 10 January 2021 00:46 (five years ago)

he isn’t, but schotty is probably the league’s worst oc

boz conspiracy by toby hus (voodoo chili), Sunday, 10 January 2021 01:16 (five years ago)

boz conspiracy by toby hus (voodoo chili), Sunday, 10 January 2021 01:16 (five years ago)

frogbs, Sunday, 10 January 2021 04:14 (five years ago)

god if this kid knocks Brady out of the playoffs it would be the funniest shit to happen in the NFL in a long time

frogbs, Sunday, 10 January 2021 04:19 (five years ago)

that throw to sims was an absolute dime, someone is gonna give him way too much money in the offseason

boz conspiracy by toby hus (voodoo chili), Sunday, 10 January 2021 04:26 (five years ago)

honestly disturbing to be rooting for the hatcats

mookieproof, Sunday, 10 January 2021 04:28 (five years ago)

Yes but this is what Tom Brady refusing to retire hath wrought.

horseshoe, Sunday, 10 January 2021 04:30 (five years ago)

A valiant effort!

horseshoe, Sunday, 10 January 2021 04:32 (five years ago)

Heinecke actually did look pretty good when he was on the Vikings but then he fucked up his foot and ankle in what, reading between the lines, was some dumb drunk misadventure so they cut him because you can't have a hurt back up and the whole thing was such a dumbass move

but I remember liking him

Depending on if Alex Smith can really take another season (hint you probably should seriously think about retiring), I'd say Heinecke definitely earned him a shot at least a season of paychecks as the WTF Hatcats as their backup QB.

Washington should just stay totally Seinfeld and should officially change the name to Washington Team Football. It's anti-logo and kinda genius in a way.

earlnash, Sunday, 10 January 2021 17:39 (five years ago)

I don't have a lot of fandom in this playoffs as the Bears got in the back door and probably don't deserve to be there. I could believe it possible they could upset the Saints if for nothing else for the almighty to punish Bears fans once again watching Aaron Rodgers toy with their emotions.

That said, if I had to pick a team I would be OK with them winning it all, I would go Titans. Why? Derrick Henry is a mf'ing beast and bad a$$ running back is way cooler than elite QB.

earlnash, Sunday, 10 January 2021 17:43 (five years ago)

xpost, the WFT uniforms with the old school collegiate style helmets are some of the best in the league

Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Sunday, 10 January 2021 17:55 (five years ago)

Lol “Washington Football Team” is totally Seinfeld-y, true.

horseshoe, Sunday, 10 January 2021 18:49 (five years ago)

I’ve actually come around to the POV that the Nagy/Mitch Bears are pretty good, if consistently unlucky

frogbs, Sunday, 10 January 2021 19:38 (five years ago)

frogbs, Sunday, 10 January 2021 23:37 (five years ago)
