Goodell put out a press release saying not to worry, it's just the long snapper
― Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Wednesday, 30 September 2020 04:08 (five years ago)
man, 8 long snappers, that's some depth you don't usually see!
― LaRusso Auto (Neanderthal), Wednesday, 30 September 2020 04:56 (five years ago)
you can never have too many
― Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Wednesday, 30 September 2020 06:42 (five years ago)
I was doubtful when the NBA came back, but after the first game I watched I was ecstatic. It was like a lifeline to pre-COVID life. I didn't get that feeling watching the first week of NFL. The piped-in crowd noise, pointless season-ending injuries, and boring predictability of (most of) the games have had me feeling less enthusiastic every week. There have been a few entertaining games, though.
― beard papa, Thursday, 1 October 2020 18:46 (five years ago)
tonight's game should bring back your enthusiasm
― mookieproof, Thursday, 1 October 2020 19:03 (five years ago)
Patriots’ QB Cam Newton tested positive and is out for Sunday’s game vs. Kansas City, per @FieldYates and me.— Adam Schefter (@AdamSchefter) October 3, 2020
Thank you Donald Trump for singlehandedly bringing back football
― frogbs, Saturday, 3 October 2020 15:13 (five years ago)
and now the game is postponed
― Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Saturday, 3 October 2020 19:17 (five years ago)
Holy shit Odell
Just for the historical record, I would like to state at this exact moment in time, the Cleveland Browns actually look pretty decent
― frogbs, Sunday, 4 October 2020 20:08 (five years ago)
See: that 2 point conversion, that’s the kind of random bullshit that happens TO Cleveland, not for them
― frogbs, Sunday, 4 October 2020 20:10 (five years ago)
new team who dis, as the kids say
― Mr. Snrub, Sunday, 4 October 2020 22:08 (five years ago)
really too bad that the nfc east teams get to play each other
― mookieproof, Monday, 5 October 2020 00:45 (five years ago)
Nick Foles is not accurate. Bears just need to go old skool Tom Landry or like college coaches used to do all the time and swap them out if they get cold.
They should have pulled Foles in the 4th quarter, as they were lifeless and the Colts defense was shuttering them in. I think having a bit of mobility at QB might have busted a play open.
Neither one is all that good, I don't think Foles has done any more than Mitch T. with the Bears.
― earlnash, Monday, 5 October 2020 19:56 (five years ago)
I'm looking forward to seeing the Colts play some good clubs, as they look pretty stout on both lines and have some good players on D.
Cowboys defense is shredded. Cleveland pushed them around like they had Jim Brown running yesterday.
― earlnash, Monday, 5 October 2020 19:58 (five years ago)
there's gotta be a reason foles couldn't beat out mitch in training camp
― Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Monday, 5 October 2020 20:07 (five years ago)
Bill O’Brien fired, finally.
― Mr. Snrub, Monday, 5 October 2020 21:21 (five years ago)
his play calling was so bad yesterday
― Wayne Grotski (symsymsym), Monday, 5 October 2020 22:24 (five years ago)
Dak, holy shit
I would advise y’all not to watch that
― frogbs, Sunday, 11 October 2020 22:58 (five years ago)
yeah, that shook me up
― Brad C., Sunday, 11 October 2020 23:01 (five years ago)
He’s such a legitimately likable athlete, seeing him get carted off like that really hurt
― frogbs, Sunday, 11 October 2020 23:14 (five years ago)
Especially given his contract situation, just shitty all around
― frogbs, Sunday, 11 October 2020 23:32 (five years ago)
I had to walk away from the television for a while, no need to see any replays of that
― Brad C., Sunday, 11 October 2020 23:34 (five years ago)
another chapter added to the epic legacy of andy dalton

― LaRusso Auto (Neanderthal), Monday, 12 October 2020 00:09 (five years ago)
wow brutal loss for the Vikings
― frogbs, Monday, 12 October 2020 03:31 (five years ago)
russell wilson can have that effect on other teams
― the unappreciated charisma of cows (Aimless), Monday, 12 October 2020 04:20 (five years ago)
lol idaf about advanced analytics, any Vikings fan knew exactly what was going to happen the minutes they decided to go for it on 4th. like write that shit on a stone tablet.
― Blues Guitar Solo Heatmap (Free Download) (upper mississippi sh@kedown), Tuesday, 13 October 2020 17:31 (five years ago)
yeah if there's a such thing as late-game mojo the Seahawks have it and the Vikings very much do not
― frogbs, Tuesday, 13 October 2020 17:48 (five years ago)
the jets are just astonishingly bad; can't see gase surviving past tomorrow
― mookieproof, Sunday, 18 October 2020 23:10 (five years ago)
Yup. Was a nice bye week for us.

getting Peyton's Super Bowl Broncos vibes from the Bucs
― frogbs, Monday, 19 October 2020 01:08 (five years ago)
wonder how many games the nfc east would win if they could call a restart to the season and merge into one 55-man superteam. they’d have tons of depth defensively but it would take away their greatest advantage, which is getting to play the nfc east all the time. i’d say 8 games— Jon Bois (@jon_bois) October 20, 2020
― frogbs, Tuesday, 20 October 2020 02:44 (five years ago)
Cowboys with the most points allowed in the first 6 games for the last....50 years? dunno couldn't quite read the graphic
― frogbs, Tuesday, 20 October 2020 03:24 (five years ago)
funniest thing about this game was the reveal that Andy Dalton will make a million bucks if the Cowboys limp into the playoffs at 6-10
― frogbs, Tuesday, 20 October 2020 03:36 (five years ago)
i get that firing gase won't necessarily make things better -- especially if greggg williams were to become interim coach -- but i see no likely wins in the jets' remaining 10 games

lol
#Cowboys players initially bought into keeping things internal. Now as they sit 2-4 the discontent is leaking out. On the coaching staff “totally unprepared. They don’t teach. They don’t have any sense of adjusting on the fly.” Another “they just aren’t good at their jobs”— Jane Slater (@SlaterNFL) October 20, 2020

dak might’ve been papering over the fact that the boys are the worst team in the division
― glengarry gary beers (voodoo chili), Sunday, 25 October 2020 22:12 (five years ago)
Maybe this is just me but I think if you lose to something called “Washington Football Team” it should count as 2 losses. Not that this would really affect their playoff standing much.
― frogbs, Sunday, 25 October 2020 22:22 (five years ago)
Cam is v not good
― Neanderthal, Sunday, 25 October 2020 22:37 (five years ago)
cowboys didn't just lose to the WFT, they got fucking smoked. outgained 397 yards to 142!
― mookieproof, Sunday, 25 October 2020 23:53 (five years ago)
Browns/Bengals game was as usual, very entertaining.
Joe Burrow has a f-in' cannon. He can throw a football. Bengals better draft O-line until they got a wall in front of him.
Got to say Mayfield made some throws today too, that TD winner was really good.
― earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:19 (five years ago)
end of the Falcons game was pretty nuts too, weird to see a team lose that way
― frogbs, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:22 (five years ago)
Matt Stafford would be a big star if on a good club and not the Lions.
― earlnash, Monday, 26 October 2020 01:47 (five years ago)
