Am I tripping or are they looking weirdly good this evening? Damien Harris is kicking serious ass.

Mr. Cacciatore (Moodles), Monday, 16 November 2020 02:59 (five years ago)

yeah, i haven't seen a ton of them this year but they are looking pretty good. the offense is still a little bit scotch tape and bubblegum outside of harris but if anyone can make that work they can.

Don't think it will happen, but it would be hilarious for the Pats to win out and still win the division over Miami and Buffalo.

Schadenfreude is the best thing about NFL.

The Ravens still not being able to beat the Pats, when on paper the better club is still pretty hilarious.

It would be even funnier for the Pats end up in the playoffs at like 8-8 and somehow take out the Steelers (AGAIN).

earlnash, Monday, 16 November 2020 04:41 (five years ago)

Or better to upset the Steelers then beat the Colts (AGAIN).

Ha!

bill belichick talks about long snappers and the history of specialization for 10 minutes. pretty captivating stuff when he gets rolling explaining the evolution of punt blocking strategy.

that's an amazing off-the-cuff response

Brad C., Saturday, 18 September 2021 02:54 (four years ago)

there's now a little self-awareness with the media where they know if they ask him a broad question about football strategy he will just go and go (in contrast to asking him anything specific about the current state of the team), and i think bill is in on the bit at this point, but i can't argue with the output. he's an encyclopedia and really good at explaining this stuff.

how did i not know this

I haven’t even mentioned how the [Patriots were] banned from home field Monday Night Football games from 1981 to 1995 because of a mass inebriation festival in which a man fell ill with a heart attack and some fans urinated on the EMTs while they were working on him and, after the game, some idiot had stolen a goal post and, on his way up Route 1, he hit some power lines and electrocuted himself.

mookieproof, Monday, 18 December 2023 20:46 (two years ago)

jesus christ

lag∞n, Monday, 18 December 2023 21:08 (two years ago)

if that's not great advertisement for 1980s football I don't know what is

Formica Jordan (Neanderthal), Monday, 18 December 2023 21:13 (two years ago)

stolen a goal post and, on his way up Route 1, he hit some power lines and electrocuted himself

is he still available? sounds like he might be an upgrade from the patritos' current placekicking situation

fact checking cuz, Tuesday, 19 December 2023 01:22 (two years ago)

tbf if you'd asked me 'which fanbase did this?' i'd have said

1. eagles
2. jets
3. patritos
