if both the Cowboys and Eagles manage to lose it truly would be the best Week 17

the browns have lost double-digit games in 14 of the last 17 seasons, which is really something

I was told they were Super Bowl contenders this year

It smells as bad as it could possibly smell" Arians said of the loss. "And it'll smell that way for a long time."

Really unbelievable the crazy victories Green Bay has pulled out vs Detroit these last few years

Dak 3 yards shy of the all time Cowboys record and he’s probably not gonna get it lol

Be great if he gets it by a yard and then next play throws pass for -4 and game ends

HOW THE FUCK DO YOU TAKE A DELAY OF GAME THERE holy shit Seattle

Niners are going to give me a heart attack this year.
― DJI, Monday, 30 December 2019 04:37 (four years ago) link
seriously Beastmode getting signed in Week 17 to score the walk-off division winning TD *in* Seattle would've been the fucking NFL story of the year and it didn't happen because Pistol Pete did not have a plan for the Seahawks getting a first down there

Interesting factoids re: the Patriots.
Miami hadn't won in Foxborough since 2008, the infamous Wildcat game.
Patriots not only have never won a Super Bowl when they didn't have a bye, but have only even played in one in that same scenario - 1985.

btw lmao at that obvious no-call on PI at the end there, the rule was changed this year to prevent THIS EXACT THING from happening and instead it happens in another huge game and screws over the Saints again lol
― frogbs, Monday, 30 December 2019 05:06 (four years ago) link
If we're bitching about calls, that call on the late hit for the niners was pretty bogus. Should have at least been offset by the helmet shove into the turf.
― DJI, Monday, 30 December 2019 16:51 (four years ago) link
NFL released a statement that that wasn’t a pi anyway. Seattle should have scored on their 8 tries
― championship winning vibration (Spottie), Monday, 30 December 2019 17:07 (four years ago) link
seemed like a pretty egregious PI to me, and Seattle's other myriad failures don't matter in that decision anyway.

xxp yeah Collinsworth was pretty livid about that one and rightfully so. I hate when teams wind up getting punished because someone made an unexpectedly great play.
but yeah Seattle had so many chances there, I think Barnwell pointed out that they basically could have scored on any of the last 5 or so final plays had Russell made the right decisions. hell if Hollister was holding the ball in his other hand it probably would've been a TD. still hell of a play by Greenlaw in the end to stuff him like that, feel like that winds up being a TD like 90% of the time

Taking that delay of game on the 1 was indeed inexcusable especially since it denied us a potential Beast Mode game winning TD that would’ve have provided proof that god is real and loves us
