if I was a 49ers fan I'd be worried about Jimmy G in the playoffs, that final 4th quarter drive and all of OT he looked awful. funny how the announcers were saying "this is what everyone's been waiting for, a chance to see Jimmy Garroppolo in a pressure situation"...and he immediately hurls the ball right into a defender's arms, who miraculously dropped it. then proceeds to do that three more times, when he wasn't tossing the ball 20 feet over everyone's head

yeah that was perfect comic timing, as was them hyping up the drama of an untested kicker in a big moment then he misses the winning field goal as badly as possible

Each kick by that dude had more pressure than the last. Jimmy was bad but his receivers also dropped about 13 passes as well. Sanders has a hurt rib and Kittle was out so that messed him up a bit. He has about 2-3 per game that he just flat out shouldn’t throw. Let’s not forget Russell Wilson threw a pick last night at a huge moment.

Garrett gone for the year. Can't say I disagree. Dude plays some wildly undisciplined football at times, which is too bad because he seems like a good guy otherwise.

Rudolph did start it but didn't get fined or suspended (so far). Pouncey suspended for three games I think.

yeah sounds about right. finally beating your longtime rival but getting one of your best players needlessly suspended for the year seems like a very Browns thing to do.

season long suspension was a given, I wonder if it'll go beyond that. I was always curious if a player could possibly be criminally charged for something they did on the field, I'm guessing the answer is not, but this is as close to "dude probably should be arrested for that" as I've ever seen. outside of Burfict I guess

Ryan got hurt for a couple of games and Julio Jones I think just came back a couple weeks ago too from injury.

So many clubs come out of the gate so poor, you really cannot tell how good they might be for a while.

B-more took apart Houston. They were not in the game. As long as Jackson keeps healthy and not turning over the ball, they are going to be really tough to beat. He makes it look so easy on these seemingly busted plays. The ball control angle of their offense makes their defense even better. Ravens are looking as good as ever on that side of the ball. Atlanta was good on D a couple of years with Vick, but they were never top of the league and Baltimore is definitely in the top tier. Being best team in the NFL in November is often not the same one in January...

only saw the 2nd half tonight but thought it was very excellent, particularly the houston O indy D match up kinda cldnt have been better every play was so tight and some truly perfect pass and catches happened

That was a really close game, one that it really did come down to just a couple plays either way being the difference. I hope the best for Brissett but the Colts could not get very many passes down field at all. Joseph made a heck of a play on the one throw to Hilton that was on the money.

Texans have gotten run over on the ground, as Indy could pretty much run the ball most of the night coming after the Ravens left tire tracks on them the week before.

legit have no clue how good either of those teams are. Texans are a lot of fun but yet again their ceiling seems to be a first-round elimination. Colts are just all over the map - they could be 8-3 if Vinatieri makes the kicks he usually does, but at the same time they have a ridiculously soft schedule. I'm glad the dropoff from Luck to Brisett hasn't been so steep...not convinced he's gonna stick around long but he's pretty decent
