Osweiler bro there are some QBs good enough to thread a ball between four defenders but you ain't it. know your role, foo.

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:29 (nine years ago)

xpost I am thinking the defense will actually need to score

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:29 (nine years ago)

they reminds me of the 2000 MIami Dolphins w/ Jay Fiedler and Lamar Smith in that the offense needs like special accommodations to do anything

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:30 (nine years ago)

wow Clowney, damn

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:30 (nine years ago)

Holy shit Clowney

frogbs, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:30 (nine years ago)

foreeeeever to throw just now. nice

FREE BRADY (daria-g), Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:31 (nine years ago)

pushoff by Edelman, so shocked

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:31 (nine years ago)

still a good result for the Texans going into halftime. few people thought this one would be close.

but seriously they're only scoring on a double reverse flea flicker lateral if they score again at all. their offense is so vanilla New England could shut it down in their sleep.

gonna have to win with field position and giving up passes like that won't do it

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:32 (nine years ago)

outside of their tendency to give up 40 yard pass plays, this Houston defense is playing excellently

frogbs, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:33 (nine years ago)

I felt like the decision to drop back into coverage was the right one there tho

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:34 (nine years ago)

Houston's gotta be really reeling from that kick return tho.

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:34 (nine years ago)

td saving tackle by Clowney

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:36 (nine years ago)

woooooow

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:36 (nine years ago)

is New England averse to running or somethin

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:36 (nine years ago)

holyyyyyyyy shit

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:37 (nine years ago)

man that's a huge stand

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:38 (nine years ago)

unreal that the Pats didnt score a TD there

frogbs, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:38 (nine years ago)

don't get why they threw on second down, that woulda been the down to run, as the defense had to sell out a little bit to account for a pass.

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:40 (nine years ago)

kick return TD would be nice here

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:40 (nine years ago)

Simms all "Osweiler has to be happy with the way he played", is he fucking high? he was mediocre as hell. 10 points scored on drives that started in field goal range, and took a clever reverse fake to get the TD.

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:43 (nine years ago)

lol Brock 13 of 20 for 83 yards. 4.2 yards/attempt. basically using their passing game as a secondary run game, not gonna cut it.

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:46 (nine years ago)

lol the spread on this game was Patriots by 16.5? wish I'd come out of gambling retirement to have taken that one.

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:52 (nine years ago)

I got in at texans +16. Considering they hadnt scored a td in the last 3 games vs the Pats that seems about right

frogbs, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:56 (nine years ago)

yeah I mean Patriots could cover that easily in most iterations of this matchup but in the playoffs against the #1 defense, only takes one or two one-off mistakes not to cover even if you otherwise dominate the game.

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:59 (nine years ago)

Miller's been like the only bright spot for the offense.

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 02:59 (nine years ago)

ladies and gentleman, Brock Osweiler

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:00 (nine years ago)

Osweiler dropping back for 5 seconds then hitting his own guy in the knees at the line of scrimmage is pretty much Houston's offense in a nutshell

frogbs, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:00 (nine years ago)

his slow reaction is a killer. the ball has to come out quick on that play, if there's nothing available, you gotta anticipate the pressure, move around, try to extend the play. i know he ain't the most mobile dude in the world but as soon as 3 seconds passed it was p obvious he was gonna fuck it up

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:02 (nine years ago)

Meanwhile Brady has 171 yards on 9 completions

FREE BRADY (daria-g), Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:06 (nine years ago)

man killer of a missed tackle there

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:07 (nine years ago)

Yeah watching Brock its nuts this guy got a big offseason contract, dude plays so much like a backup and I'd be shocked if hes still a starter in 2 years

frogbs, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:09 (nine years ago)

welllllllllll there it is

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:09 (nine years ago)

i am just getting up to speed with this game but brady has dropped some goddamn dimes in the past few minutes

call all destroyer, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:09 (nine years ago)

love the halftime adjustments baby!

lag∞n, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:10 (nine years ago)

are "halftime adjustments" basically belichick yelling DO YOUR JOB at guys?

FREE BRADY (daria-g), Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:11 (nine years ago)

sometimes he forgets to yell it before the game

lag∞n, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:11 (nine years ago)

yeah it was inevitable really. if Houston thought it was gonna be able to shut out NE the rest of the game and eventually squeeze out a TD, well, they strategized poorly

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:11 (nine years ago)

Yeah houston offense gonna have to figure something out quick or theyre gonna lose by 25

frogbs, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:12 (nine years ago)

prediction of next series:

1st down: 4 yard pass in flat
2nd down: run for 3 yards
3rd down: Brock throws ball off of Patriot defender's hands

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:12 (nine years ago)

heheheh i knew it was only a matter of time before someone mentioned 'patriots day'
assumed wahlberg basically made the movie for pats to show at team movie night, i'm surprised they didn't go yet

FREE BRADY (daria-g), Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:13 (nine years ago)

haha that's the biggest gain of the game for the Texans

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:13 (nine years ago)

kills me that MIller has been doing his job and creating manageable situations for Brockfarmer only for him to fuck it away

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:14 (nine years ago)

ladies and gentleman, Mr......

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:15 (nine years ago)

oops

call all destroyer, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:15 (nine years ago)

do they have any WRs that played QB in college, might be worth a try

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:15 (nine years ago)

if not, maybe still worth trying them out

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:16 (nine years ago)

cld feel that one coming

lag∞n, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:17 (nine years ago)

lag∞n, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:20 (nine years ago)

Neanderthal, Sunday, 15 January 2017 03:21 (nine years ago)

mookieproof, Monday, 16 January 2017 04:47 (nine years ago)

yes him too

lag∞n, Monday, 16 January 2017 04:51 (nine years ago)

malcolm butler vs antonio brown is usually fun to watch but otherwise p bored of watching steelers games

FREE BRADY (daria-g), Monday, 16 January 2017 05:07 (nine years ago)

turns out crippling food poisoning goes with watching alex smith play qb like a nice sauternes goes with the dessert course.

call all destroyer, Monday, 16 January 2017 05:11 (nine years ago)

rewatching that sack on Rodgers in the 4th, I cannot believe he held onto the ball there. like 80% of the QBs in the league fumble when they get hit like that, including Rodgers who has turned it over that way many times (most notably in OT during that Wild Card game vs. Arizona). damn this game had all the elements of the gutpunch loss, except the actual loss.

frogbs, Monday, 16 January 2017 05:21 (nine years ago)

malcolm butler vs antonio brown is usually fun to watch but otherwise p bored of watching steelers games

weird; neither of these players are dan snyder employees
