Yes, damn their eyes. My main hope is that the new mini-playoff will force them to meet and beat two other Top 4 teams. Bama probably will take the championship, but they might encounter some matchup problems that could keep things close enough for a fluky loss. Maybe.

Um, one of the main things Bama fans have been saying for the last two seasons is "RUN THE BALL, KIFFIN!" So no, he's not missed. Who knows what lies ahead in the Sark era, but I will repeat that Kiffin is not missed.
My quick summation of Alabama's year is that Jalen Hurts peaked in the middle third of the season and has taken a step back since. Scarbrough peaked late, then got sidelined with injury in the title game, and may/may not have changed the outcome. Most importantly, though, Alabama is bad on 3rd and long.
