another example ryan fitz is sort of the opposite of bradford, he will push downfield and try to make any throw, however ill advised. that's why his career flip flops between him looking amazing and looking hot garbage vs bradford who is consistently lukewarm.

peyton is the best qb of 2000s in terms of pure stand there, find the best guy, hit the mark dead. he hasn't become bad at picking the right throw, he isn't physically executing those throws like he used to and he's running up a lot of ints as a result. one thing that helped him look better last night was he had guys getting really open.
― Roberto Spiralli, Monday, 2 November 2015 16:35 (eight years ago) link
his receivers were so open + he had space to step into throws

his arm strength is so gone that if he cant throw w his whole body he cant throw
week 12 is going to be a blast

perhaps we can let Peyton use a vortex football to keep the viewing numbers up

imagine thomas or sanders making a leaping grab by pinching the vortex fin between his middle and pointer fingers and then celebrating by fake smoking the vortex like a cigarette. it's better tv.

Instead of depression, Wes Welker's blows to the head give him accelerated learning capability like that of John Travolta's character in the movie Phenomenon. But Wes' new self awareness just leads to an even more intense depression.

― seriously, THIS GUY (daria-g), Tuesday, 3 November 2015 04:04 (eight years ago) link
btw i love gruden too, there was a partic moment where if you search for what he said about the center just before that carolina fumble it was .. special
― seriously, THIS GUY (daria-g), Tuesday, 3 November 2015 04:08 (eight years ago) link
he's almost certainly hurt, whether it's ribs or something unreported.
colts are in a weird spot. normally you could shut him down with the comfortable knowledge that this team is going nowhere, but it would probably take me playing quarterback for them to miss the playoffs. i'd roll the dice with hasselbeck for a few weeks and see what happens.

idk remember if i said it here but i had a strong suspicion back in august that the niners were headed for a really bad season, like 3-13 bad, and i'm feeling v. justified right now.
