how many super bowl rings will tom brady have when he retires?

I picked three rings. Pats can still be good and I don't think Belichick and Brady have lost any shine, but the AFC is reaching the kind of parity that makes it harder for them to steamroll everybody.

i think they can sneak through and grab one more in the next four or five seasons, but they'll need a bit of luck and also tom brady will have to hope a paranoid aaron hernandez doesn't hire a hitman to kill him before his trial.

I think they are on the decline.

i guess i agree with the sentiment that no one is going to take over the afc anytime soon, and i don't see new england falling out of the leading pack in the say 4 years they have with brady, so they will be in contention. it's not hard to imagine two conference champ games from which one super bowl appearance.

I ran into him in the waves at a surf spot in Costa Rica a few years ago. He gave me the ‘what’s up’ nod. I have a hard time hating him after that.

Wonder if we'll ever see a run like this again.

He wasn't even someone who was necessarily lights out right out of the gate. He was an effective QB in a ball control offense initially, became more of the center of the offense his second year but hadn't yet reached top tier until 2003 when he became who he'd be the rest of his career.

And there were so many years he put up numbers with third tier receivers, he was the only continuity the offense needed.

The late career renaissance was nuts too, like we even itt had kinda felt like he'd won his 3 and after the two Giants losses, their window had closed, but nope

i can't imagine a similar run, it's crazy to look at the QBs who were drafted well after him and how many of them have been enjoying retirement for a few years now. Romo, Cutler, Luck, Eli, Roethlisberger, Bradford, Sanchez, Palmer, Leftwich, Sexy Rexy G

To put things in perspective, during Brady's actual rookie season (where he only threw three passes) , Troy Aikman was still in the league, playing his final season

also: Neil O'Donnell, Jeff George, Doug Flutie, Jim Harbaugh

probably not in the NFL, it's just so hard to not have the cumulative effects of injuries weigh you down once you get to 39 or so. in the NBA I guess LeBron is kind of there, he's already at the stage where NBA players are telling him "hey my Dad played against you"
