Tebow cracks me up because he self-evidently has this enormous ineffable Q rating that makes him ripe for celebrity despite how painfully inept he is as a professional quarterback
it's like if Ryan Lochte was still getting all of the attention and endorsements he has now but was competing in all of his events with an unnaturally fast doggy paddle

If anyone can convince Tebow to let go of his QB dreams and be a productive TE, it's Bill imo.
they need tight ends?

i would pay so much money out of pocket for tebow to be responsible for multiple touchdowns when the patriots play at the jets

Mallett would probably have the edge, right?

I wonder if Brady is practicing his gasface
― they are either militarists (ugh) or kangaroos (?) (DJP), Monday, 10 June 2013 21:27 (thirteen years ago)
i think the way this works is they try tebow at the half when brady gets badly injured, he has a crazy three touchdown, two turnover win; QB controversy on the week off; they start him and he has a weird flukey dominant game; a week of nonstop OMYGOD IS HE BETTER THAN BRADY and then three weeks of ugly hash until brady gets back; he angrily takes the ball out of tebow's hands and whips him all the way up to golgotha. then tebow rises on the third day and takes the seahawks to the superbowl. then he ascends and the hawks lose in overtime.
― i didn't even give much of a fuck that you were mod (forksclovetofu), Monday, 10 June 2013 21:30 (thirteen years ago)
somehow he ends up taking the Atlanta Hawks to the Superbowl rather than the Seattle Seahawks, otherwise OTM

"It's not a surprise to me that Tim would be picked up, obviously as I've said before, tremendous young man, very competitive and I look forward to competing against him," Jets coach Rex Ryan said Tuesday.
Asked if he was curious how Belichick planned to use Tebow, Ryan said, "Not really. Nope. If they want to replace Brady with him, that's fine."
