"Tannehill is a hidden gem in this draft, a quiet secret who was always sneaking up to #3..you want him,you better talk to Zigi The Biggie!," Irsay wrote Wednesday afternoon.

Jim Irsay is really weird.

polyphonic, Thursday, 12 April 2012 18:57 (fourteen years ago)

jim irsay needs to be put in prison, he really does

J0rdan S., Thursday, 12 April 2012 18:58 (fourteen years ago)

polyphonic, Thursday, 12 April 2012 18:59 (fourteen years ago)

his twitter is so mental i can hardly believe it's real. if it was reveal one of those fyad ppl were behind it you would not bat an eyelid.

Roberto Spiralli, Thursday, 12 April 2012 19:03 (fourteen years ago)

its pretty uncoool to meddle in a pick that's not yours like that. if i was a team wanting to trade up to get that pick, i'd be pissed.

If you haven't seen it, you all should search out the Gruden QB Camp episode with Andrew Luck. It is a good one.

JG drops quite a few references to "The Sheriff" in it and really comes out saying Luck got the mental game more than any college Qb he has ever seen.

earlnash, Friday, 13 April 2012 02:29 (fourteen years ago)

Those Gruden QB camps are great, and yeah, the Andrew Luck one was really good.

got so frustrated watching Jeopardy two days ago, can't remember the question but it was something like "this guy, who won the Super Bowl in 2002, now a Monday Night Football announcer", and the contestants were just staring into space

later I realized, not knowing the answer to that question is probably what gets you on Jeopardy in the first place

you can expect punches, kicks and even worse (frogbs), Friday, 13 April 2012 14:11 (fourteen years ago)

the world outside ILNFL is a scary place, frogbs

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Friday, 13 April 2012 15:27 (fourteen years ago)

hah i like thinking of that read as "THIS GUY,"

johnny crunch, Friday, 13 April 2012 15:31 (fourteen years ago)

Jeopardy should have a Chucky category called THIS GUY

"I'll take THIS GUY for $200, thanks Alex"

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Friday, 13 April 2012 15:51 (fourteen years ago)

I'll tell you what, you let this guy loose on a board like this one, he's not satisfied until he hits both those Daily Doubles, I'll tell ya what, give me three of this contestant every time out, you got yourself a hell of a Jeopardy game

you can expect punches, kicks and even worse (frogbs), Friday, 13 April 2012 16:02 (fourteen years ago)

Man, Ryan Leaf is tragic:

an independent online phenomenon (DJP), Saturday, 14 April 2012 12:48 (fourteen years ago)

Until Jamarcus Russell overtakes him in some way, Leaf has now cemented his status as biggest NFL bust ever.

todd marinovich? xp

mookieproof, Sunday, 15 April 2012 02:58 (fourteen years ago)

Marinovich was a late first rounder

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 15 April 2012 17:54 (fourteen years ago)

Jamarcus was better than leaf; he had 2 or 3 ok games. But Leaf wasn't a number one pick.

Matt Armstrong, Sunday, 15 April 2012 17:56 (fourteen years ago)

more thursday games:

A 14-week package of Thursday night games begins in Week 2 with Chicago at Green Bay. All but one of those games will be on NFL Network, which now has games from September until December instead of just the second half of the schedule.

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 18 April 2012 00:40 (fourteen years ago)

ever-increasing dilution is nagl

mookieproof, Wednesday, 18 April 2012 00:42 (fourteen years ago)

interestingly, the thanksgiving night game is on nbc, not nfln

horseshoe, Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:19 (fourteen years ago)

i will ruminate upon this as you are quick to bet, too quick imo

biggie smallclothes (brownie), Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:24 (fourteen years ago)

what is up your sleeve

biggie smallclothes (brownie), Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:25 (fourteen years ago)

how are we even? did the bills win one of these? all the recent seasons blend into one long, boring travesty in my mind.

xp frank's red hot iirc

horseshoe, Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:26 (fourteen years ago)

the bills are a long, boring travesty, i meant; did not mean to impugn cleveland's fine browns there

horseshoe, Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:26 (fourteen years ago)

no, you won the bet season before last. i bet every wing in my purse.

has your trip to NYC turned you into a big city tout?

biggie smallclothes (brownie), Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:30 (fourteen years ago)

throwing wings to the wind

biggie smallclothes (brownie), Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:30 (fourteen years ago)

xp haha

horseshoe, Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:31 (fourteen years ago)

biggie smallclothes (brownie), Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:37 (fourteen years ago)

get a room, guys

mookieproof, Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:54 (fourteen years ago)

(sorry if i denigrated lake erie's marbles)

mookieproof, Wednesday, 18 April 2012 01:54 (fourteen years ago)

um, isn't that browns-bills game from 2009 still going on? i think it might be

seriously, THIS GUY (daria-g), Wednesday, 18 April 2012 04:32 (fourteen years ago)

ever-increasing dilution is nagl
― mookieproof

Well it's the same number of games tho right, only one more national televised game? And I have one more day a week I can watch football right? I am in favor.

boy, was that Dan Fielding hungry for some cake! (forksclovetofu), Wednesday, 18 April 2012 17:00 (fourteen years ago)

love the idea of more Thursday night games, and you should too

Saw a few more of the Jon Gruden QB Camp episodes. He really seems to like this year's crop more than the ones from seasons past or at least thinks they got the mental part of the game down pretty well. Either that or people maybe go in expecting what he does a bit more, as some of the earlier ones the dude would be kind of awkward not knowing how to take some of the stuff Gruden's saying.

Gruden gave alot of respect to Boise St's Kellen Moore. Pretty much saying he really knows the position and even if he doesn't make it as a player, the dude is going to be a good coach at some point that he wouldn't want to have to go against as the guy knows the game well.

Gruden also was really impressed by Wisconsin QB Russell Wilson's decision making and leadership. JG stated that his height is going to be an issue but used the example of how he wrote of that guy Brady, as his 40 time and shuttle speed wasn't so hot.
