Randy Moss is a 49er

polyphonic, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 01:40 (fourteen years ago)

just glad the saints didnt sign him

these pretzels are makeing me horney (Hungry4Ass), Tuesday, 13 March 2012 01:41 (fourteen years ago)

that would've killed me

these pretzels are makeing me horney (Hungry4Ass), Tuesday, 13 March 2012 01:41 (fourteen years ago)

surprised an Arena League team didn't snap him up after they fired their entire lineups.

Bo Jackson Overdrive, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 02:04 (fourteen years ago)

The 49ers are making it absolutely clear they're not going to go after Peyton with the signing of Moss and Perrish Cox. "Character issue" players are something I'm sure he wants to avoid at all costs.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 19:12 (fourteen years ago)

well they probably heard from him that he wasn't really interested

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 13 March 2012 19:14 (fourteen years ago)

"hey come throw to ted ginn, kyle williams and michael crabtree. no, really, it will be fine."

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 13 March 2012 19:14 (fourteen years ago)

brandon marshall to Bears, for two 3rd rounds picks?

brownie, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 19:59 (fourteen years ago)

the science behind why billy cundiff choked

mookieproof, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 20:05 (fourteen years ago)

damn, if the bears sign mario williams too... look out!!

these pretzels are makeing me horney (Hungry4Ass), Tuesday, 13 March 2012 20:23 (fourteen years ago)

xps didn't Cutler and Marshall not like each other in Denver? maybe my mind is just fabricating that.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 20:47 (fourteen years ago)

garcon to the redskins

brownie, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 20:48 (fourteen years ago)

Adam Schefter ‏ @AdamSchefter
Now Redskins on verge of signing 49ers WR Josh Morgan, too, to go along with Pierre Garcon..

WTG Snyder...give RG3 a bunch of #2's to throw to.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:03 (fourteen years ago)

Morgan is like a #5.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:05 (fourteen years ago)

Although he has been stuck in SF's bad passing offense for awhile so who knows.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:06 (fourteen years ago)

Jason Campbell to Chicago? hmmm...

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:18 (fourteen years ago)

dan snyder remains HILARIOUS -- everything is right in the world

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:32 (fourteen years ago)

lol now Washington is talking to Eddie Royal.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 22:47 (fourteen years ago)

campbell to bears is great business considering how their back up qb skewered their season last year. and for him he knows he'll get at least a few games, although he is at least as good as some qbs who will start eg carson palmer, whoops

morgan and garcon is a very nice bump to the skins offense, but i am sure they will have overpaid horribly.

Roberto Spiralli, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 22:51 (fourteen years ago)

how are they doing this with -$36m cap space?

mookieproof, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 23:29 (fourteen years ago)

It appears that V Jax's payday in Tampa is $55,555,555.55/5yrs to foster some kind of relationship with Josh Freeman (#5). lol

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 01:29 (fourteen years ago)

for real? awesome

Peppermint Patty Hearst (VegemiteGrrl), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 01:58 (fourteen years ago)

Reggie Wayne staying in Indy. (Good for Indy, I guess?)

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 02:32 (fourteen years ago)

Miami :(.

Bo Jackson Overdrive, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 02:34 (fourteen years ago)

It's starting to look like Miami could blow this from every conceivable angle. At this point, I'm expecting Peyton and Matt Flynn to sign elsewhere and Tannehill to get drafted in the first round (now with no #1 receiver to hurl it to).

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 02:38 (fourteen years ago)

i think the fins are gonna Blow For Barkley

these pretzels are makeing me horney (Hungry4Ass), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 02:57 (fourteen years ago)

not signing matt flynn does not necessarily equal "not blowing it"

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:04 (fourteen years ago)

they were never gonna get RG3 unless they went way over the top bcuz their pick is below both washington's & cleveland's and if peyton doesn't wanna go there... there's nothing they can do -- if it's true that peyton is choosing between arizona and denver he's clearly just going to the two weakest divisions in hopes of skating to the playoffs and getting a bye

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:06 (fourteen years ago)

the dolphins offseason IMO is defined by how good or bad their new coach is -- if they made a home run hire i don't think it much matters if they address QB this offseason or next

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:07 (fourteen years ago)

really hope its not the god damn broncos.

these pretzels are makeing me horney (Hungry4Ass), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:10 (fourteen years ago)

I'm not sure that Matt Moore can not be servicable, especially if the defense is there and they can run the ball some. Matt Flynn had a great game with the best offense in football around him and 'might' be good, but he is no more of a sure thing than Matt Casel or say Kevin Kolb. Sometimes that gambit pays off like with Matt Hasselbeck, but often times it doesn't. I'd probably gamble and put the cash towards beefing up the total talent, as it isn't like Miami is in it to win it this year anyway.

I think Washington is going to get rooked with giving that much cash to Garcon. He's got speed, but I don't think is great. Not knowing stats, but Garcon seemed to me to drop quite a few balls.

earlnash, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:11 (fourteen years ago)

on the one hand i really hope it's not the broncos but the ensuing mania over tebow's future would be HILARIOUS & AMAZING

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:11 (fourteen years ago)

especially if the jags go all in for him, then they'd have wasted a top 10 pick on gabbert, so he's got to go somewhere... the whole thing would be delicious

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:12 (fourteen years ago)

washington in throwing money away shocker

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:12 (fourteen years ago)

As I said on the Manning thread, that is some Sun Tzu science if Elway happens to diffuse the whole Tebow fan-mania by bringing in Peyton.

earlnash, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:14 (fourteen years ago)

I'm not sure that Matt Moore can not be servicable, especially if the defense is there and they can run the ball some.

This is a valid point. I think Moore is slightly underrated among the non-elite qb class.

Johnny Fever, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 04:58 (fourteen years ago)

course now look who he has to throw to

Bo Jackson Overdrive, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 05:01 (fourteen years ago)

I just realized that my Brandon Marshall jersey was the last one I had of a player still on the damn roster. goddammit.

I own the following Dolphins jerseys atm:

Ricky Williams
Channing Crowder (lolz)
Joey Porter (GEE THAT WAS A GREAT DECISION)
Brandon Marshall (blah)
Chad Pennington
Ronnie Brown

I'm not buying any more ever.

Bo Jackson Overdrive, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 05:39 (fourteen years ago)

okay, let's say you're the GM of a team that desperately needs a franchise QB after years of failure, how much would you give to acquire a guy like Aaron Rodgers, Matt Stafford, or Cam Newton, someone who could be the face of the franchise for the next 10 years? between 3-5 first rounders? i dunno, just saying I see where the Skins are coming from in this trade, even if it's monumentally stupid (it only looks "okay" next to the Carson Palmer trade)

frogbs, Wednesday, 14 March 2012 10:58 (fourteen years ago)

i would probably give up completely different amounts for aaron rodgers, matthew stafford, and cam newton. and another different amount for rgiii

okay, how much for Cam Newton?

Wesley Crusher: Teenage F#ck Machine (forksclovetofu), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 14:04 (fourteen years ago)

taking contracts into account kind of messes up the entire exercise (if cam is as good next year as he was last year, he might be the most affordable player in the NFL) but i'd trade A LOT of picks for either of those three guys

3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Wednesday, 14 March 2012 14:19 (fourteen years ago)

Lions reached agreement with WR Calvin Johnson on a seven-year, $132 million extension that includes $60 million guaranteed.
