Will be sad if it's the Broncos...mainly because I derive great joy from TEBOW TIME, but also I just think they're at least 3 seasons away (with Peyton) from a Super Bowl. Cardinals would be okay, but ever since their Super Bowl year they just seem like underachievers rather than underdogs.

Mort says the Miami media scared him off, so my dream of Peyton and Brady whipping the Jets a combined 4 times per season looks unlikely now.

On the bright side, Alex Smith seems to be overvaluing himself in contract talks. Would love for the 49ers to just say "fuck off" and swoop in at the last second and grab Manning.

It's starting to look like Miami could blow this from every conceivable angle. At this point, I'm expecting Peyton and Matt Flynn to sign elsewhere and Tannehill to get drafted in the first round (now with no #1 receiver to hurl it to).

they were never gonna get RG3 unless they went way over the top bcuz their pick is below both washington's & cleveland's and if peyton doesn't wanna go there... there's nothing they can do -- if it's true that peyton is choosing between arizona and denver he's clearly just going to the two weakest divisions in hopes of skating to the playoffs and getting a bye

the dolphins offseason IMO is defined by how good or bad their new coach is -- if they made a home run hire i don't think it much matters if they address QB this offseason or next

I'm not sure that Matt Moore can not be servicable, especially if the defense is there and they can run the ball some. Matt Flynn had a great game with the best offense in football around him and 'might' be good, but he is no more of a sure thing than Matt Casel or say Kevin Kolb. Sometimes that gambit pays off like with Matt Hasselbeck, but often times it doesn't. I'd probably gamble and put the cash towards beefing up the total talent, as it isn't like Miami is in it to win it this year anyway.

I think Washington is going to get rooked with giving that much cash to Garcon. He's got speed, but I don't think is great. Not knowing stats, but Garcon seemed to me to drop quite a few balls.
