i wish it wasn't impossible to root against RG3
no such burdens here. i would've rooted for him over luck if one of the other main contenders eg browns had got him, but no i want 2 ryan leafs in '12. 2 LEAFS IN 12. 2 LEAFS IN 12. 2 LEAFS IN 12

I'm laughing at the idea that he would do that. Would never happen in a million years.
― You're a notch, I'm a legend (Bill Magill), Monday, 12 March 2012 15:37 (fourteen years ago)
im not sure the suggestion that a newly drafted qb could ethically blackmail a team into a name change was entirely serious

Will be sad if it's the Broncos...mainly because I derive great joy from TEBOW TIME, but also I just think they're at least 3 seasons away (with Peyton) from a Super Bowl. Cardinals would be okay, but ever since their Super Bowl year they just seem like underachievers rather than underdogs.
Mort says the Miami media scared him off, so my dream of Peyton and Brady whipping the Jets a combined 4 times per season looks unlikely now.
On the bright side, Alex Smith seems to be overvaluing himself in contract talks. Would love for the 49ers to just say "fuck off" and swoop in at the last second and grab Manning.

You seem to give me a lot of shit, polyphonic. Its pretty cool to do that when you have the safety of doing it through the internet. You wouldnt pull that shit to my face, guaranteed. You're just a pussy.

just glad the saints didnt sign him
― these pretzels are makeing me horney (Hungry4Ass), Tuesday, 13 March 2012 01:41 (fourteen years ago)
that would've killed me
surprised an Arena League team didn't snap him up after they fired their entire lineups.
― Bo Jackson Overdrive, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 02:04 (fourteen years ago)
The 49ers are making it absolutely clear they're not going to go after Peyton with the signing of Moss and Perrish Cox. "Character issue" players are something I'm sure he wants to avoid at all costs.
― Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 19:12 (fourteen years ago)
well they probably heard from him that he wasn't really interested

garcon to the redskins
― brownie, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 20:48 (fourteen years ago)
Adam Schefter @AdamSchefterNow Redskins on verge of signing 49ers WR Josh Morgan, too, to go along with Pierre Garcon..
WTG Snyder...give RG3 a bunch of #2's to throw to.
― Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:03 (fourteen years ago)
Morgan is like a #5.
― polyphonic, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:05 (fourteen years ago)
Although he has been stuck in SF's bad passing offense for awhile so who knows.
― polyphonic, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:06 (fourteen years ago)
Jason Campbell to Chicago? hmmm...
― Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:18 (fourteen years ago)

― 3hunn O))) (J0rdan S.), Tuesday, 13 March 2012 21:32 (fourteen years ago)
lol now Washington is talking to Eddie Royal.
― Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 22:47 (fourteen years ago)
campbell to bears is great business considering how their back up qb skewered their season last year. and for him he knows he'll get at least a few games, although he is at least as good as some qbs who will start eg carson palmer, whoops
morgan and garcon is a very nice bump to the skins offense, but i am sure they will have overpaid horribly.
― Roberto Spiralli, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 22:51 (fourteen years ago)
how are they doing this with -$36m cap space?
― mookieproof, Tuesday, 13 March 2012 23:29 (fourteen years ago)
It appears that V Jax's payday in Tampa is $55,555,555.55/5yrs to foster some kind of relationship with Josh Freeman (#5). lol
