I do dig that the law of averages have come back on Belichick and the Pats, as they got a whole lot of floss on their wins which were all really close games and could have gone wither way. It wasn't like the Pats were the Niners blowing out clubs 55 to 10.

xpost. it's really interesting though because the the last three times they were there, they were well above their opponents in talent. Pre-free agency those blowouts were more common though just due to how far apart the AFC and NFC were in talent.

I will say the Eagles game was closer in score than it was on the field. Once they tied it at 14, they dominated.

The first one NE totally owes the win to Mike Martz whose hubris kept throwing the damn ball instead of managing the clock and running Marshall Faulk. All they had to do was run the ball for no gain like twice instead of in-completions and NE doesn't have the time to get it into FG range.

yeah, it's funny, there were a lot of cocky Ram fans talking up the Rams as the next dynasty and all that but that game was truly the beginning of the end for the franchise.

I loved that Kraft reaction, it looked like he was witnessing them ass-raping his children on the field, the look on his face was AWESOME.

as someone who is relatively new to the sport i have to say the tentative giants buttdown/touchdown was one of the most strangest/most brilliant moments in my sport-watching life
