Wie wol ich bin der vogel has noch den erfret mich das (forksclovetofu), Tuesday, 31 January 2012 19:05 (fourteen years ago)

T.O. appearantly broke and "in hell".

earlnash, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 00:28 (fourteen years ago)

The money problems came from a series of bad investments and, as Owens describes it, trusting the wrong people.

"I hate myself for letting this happen," Owens said. "I believed that they had my back when they said, 'You take care of the football, and we'll do the rest.' And in the end, they just basically stole from me."

always its like this! v sad

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 00:31 (fourteen years ago)

It's hard not to have some shadenfreude at the situation though, as if the guy wasn't such a total dick, he probably would have a gig on an NFL club.

earlnash, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 00:39 (fourteen years ago)

it's such a weird cliche and it seems to keep happening.

Wie wol ich bin der vogel has noch den erfret mich das (forksclovetofu), Wednesday, 1 February 2012 04:47 (fourteen years ago)

aw man, you guys

horseshoe, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 04:49 (fourteen years ago)

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 14:13 (fourteen years ago)

def seemed like he was leaving indy

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 14:14 (fourteen years ago)

right now i'm feeling it's like 99% he leaves indy 55% he never plays again

call all destroyer, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 14:16 (fourteen years ago)

sounds abt right

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 14:17 (fourteen years ago)

i just can't imagine him calling it a day without even trying tho

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 14:47 (fourteen years ago)

itll be so sad if he comes back for one year throw 30ints and retires

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 14:56 (fourteen years ago)

if hes hearing 'u could be paralyzed from a hit' or w/e i would hope hes smart/mature enough to say welp & walk away

i heard part of an interview w/ ray lucas who i guess has recently had a similar spinal fusion surgery who was told in his playing days that a hit could paralyze him and he told his doctors 'so what'

johnny crunch, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:01 (fourteen years ago)

yeah the peyton manning i have made up in my head would not risk that.

so sad, you guys.

horseshoe, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:05 (fourteen years ago)

theyre saying he has no heightened risk of injury at this point its just that theres nerve damage in his arm thats hindering his velocity/accuracy or w/e but its slowly healing - obvs that could all be total lies

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:07 (fourteen years ago)

but you're right it would be sad if he came back for a season and played badly also i feel like his head might explode from frustration<---heightened risk of injury

horseshoe, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:08 (fourteen years ago)

he should suicide bomb eli w/his exploding head

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:09 (fourteen years ago)

i think eventually you're going to find yourself with a sneaking fondness for eli just like for peyton

horseshoe, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:11 (fourteen years ago)

ha no way eli is so lame

lag∞n, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:12 (fourteen years ago)

i have to admit i like eli. he has a forrest gump quality. i am glad that he eventually turned out to be a decent qb

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:14 (fourteen years ago)

Roberto Spiralli, Wednesday, 1 February 2012 15:31 (fourteen years ago)

Eli's one of the all time dorks.

Couldnt give a shit about Terrell Owens, he's an idiot.

Re: Ray Lucas above. I believe he graduated from a pain-pill popper to a heroin addict.

there's been talk of peyton to washington.. NOOOOOOOO....

seriously, THIS GUY (daria-g), Thursday, 2 February 2012 02:21 (fourteen years ago)

I heard that too. It's too weird to think about.

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Thursday, 2 February 2012 02:24 (fourteen years ago)

Peyton needs to go to sf NEEDS TO

lag∞n, Thursday, 2 February 2012 02:26 (fourteen years ago)

TITIANS

Wie wol ich bin der vogel has noch den erfret mich das (forksclovetofu), Thursday, 2 February 2012 02:33 (fourteen years ago)

If he can play, I want to see him be a Niner more than anything in the world!

Johnny Fever, Thursday, 2 February 2012 02:40 (fourteen years ago)

if he went to either the vikings or redskins, those divisions would be insane

johnny crunch, Thursday, 2 February 2012 02:48 (fourteen years ago)

assuming hes somewhere close 2 "peyty" status

johnny crunch, Thursday, 2 February 2012 02:53 (fourteen years ago)

i would be for it if peyton was like 'i will win one (1) super bowl for your team but first you have to change your racist name'

seriously, THIS GUY (daria-g), Thursday, 2 February 2012 03:10 (fourteen years ago)

that would be v interesting

okay this needs to happen

horseshoe, Thursday, 2 February 2012 04:50 (fourteen years ago)

not sure peyton cares about the redskins' racist name. but he should!

horseshoe, Thursday, 2 February 2012 04:50 (fourteen years ago)

i will write him a letter

horseshoe, Thursday, 2 February 2012 04:51 (fourteen years ago)

what if they just changed their name to the whiteskins and turned the guy on helmets skin to pink how would everyone feel

lag∞n, Thursday, 2 February 2012 04:55 (fourteen years ago)

peyton is from the deep south; he doesn't care

it's a nice thought tho

mookieproof, Thursday, 2 February 2012 05:06 (fourteen years ago)

has a player ever come out and say he doesn't want to play for them because of the name? I like to think that I'd have the balls to do it, but obviously it's a tough situation w/r/t the draft.

Matt Armstrong, Thursday, 2 February 2012 06:29 (fourteen years ago)

I thought it would've been awesome if Sam Bradford had been drafted by Washington and refused to play until they changed their name. Unfortunately, the Rams sucked harder than the Skins that year.

Johnny Fever, Thursday, 2 February 2012 06:39 (fourteen years ago)

the washington palefaces

lag∞n, Thursday, 2 February 2012 14:17 (fourteen years ago)

What about P. Manning to Seattle.

You're a notch, I'm a legend (Bill Magill), Thursday, 2 February 2012 14:18 (fourteen years ago)

peyton manning to the glue factory right everyone i mean come on

lag∞n, Thursday, 2 February 2012 14:24 (fourteen years ago)

Dark horse is the Texans.

You're a notch, I'm a legend (Bill Magill), Thursday, 2 February 2012 14:39 (fourteen years ago)

It would be very weird to see Peyton Manning end up on another AFC South club and having to play the Colts twice a year.

I think the way this is going to playout, there won't be a way for the Colts to not stop this from potentially happening as a trade of somekind seems unlikely.

It seems like it might be a very Washington/Snyder thing to do to trade for rights/contract to Peyton Manning and just pay the bonus. I suppose that is a possibility. Heck I'd imagine a low round draft pick would make that happen. It would also be a very Washington thing for them to trade for him, pay the bonus and probably a raise and then have it turn out "oh yeah, I guess I can't play cause my neck is fxxxed" ala what happened with Deon a few years back.

earlnash, Thursday, 2 February 2012 22:29 (fourteen years ago)

i am really surprised that the steelers are actually going to (supposedly) hire todd haley as OC.

Roberto Spiralli, Monday, 6 February 2012 23:07 (fourteen years ago)

i took a break from hating football today to enjoy the thought of ben rofflesburger having to take coaching from todd_haley.gif

seriously, THIS GUY (daria-g), Tuesday, 7 February 2012 04:21 (fourteen years ago)

Ricky Williams has gone to the great headshop in the sky.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 7 February 2012 20:52 (fourteen years ago)

dude fucking earned it

ELI OWNS YOUR HUSBAND (forksclovetofu), Tuesday, 7 February 2012 22:08 (fourteen years ago)

I'd like to know what a world would have been like if Ricky Williams would have been drafted instead of Edge by the Colts in 1999.

That would be one damn interesting NFL What If...

earlnash, Wednesday, 8 February 2012 03:12 (fourteen years ago)

he would've been rubbing peyton's neck every year with his big holistic medicine mitts and keeping harrison high and mellow and they would be winning their tenth consecutive superbowl this past weekend.

ELI OWNS YOUR HUSBAND (forksclovetofu), Wednesday, 8 February 2012 03:22 (fourteen years ago)

wow this is amazing
