Their blackness is irrelevant to me. Tom Cable was also a clown. Singletary did some very good things with the 49ers and so did Jackson with the Raiders. But neither are head coaches imo

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:10 (fourteen years ago)

Bald guys can't coach, it's known.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:13 (fourteen years ago)

Unless they wear a wig:

Now I am curious to decide who the best bald coach of all time is.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:14 (fourteen years ago)

I demand Gruden. YOU OWE ME THIS MUCH, OAKLAN RAIDERS

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:19 (fourteen years ago)

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:20 (fourteen years ago)

may end up w/ jay gruden for yr troubles

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:20 (fourteen years ago)

tom landry was a cue-ball

maghrib is back (Hungry4Ass), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:21 (fourteen years ago)

Chuck Knox was smart enough to start wearing a hat when he was going bald. Possibly added a decade to his career.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:21 (fourteen years ago)

Landry also was wise enough to wear a hat to maintain respect of team.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:21 (fourteen years ago)

Spiralli, imma cockpunch you for that Schottenheimer suggestion

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:22 (fourteen years ago)

maghrib is back (Hungry4Ass), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:23 (fourteen years ago)

i can't decide if i want chilly back in my life or if he's just too fucking weird for comfort.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:24 (fourteen years ago)

Hue's last presser was kinda yeeeesh, this doesn't really surprise me at all

they definitely can be a playoff team....with Campbell

frogbs, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:24 (fourteen years ago)

Marty to the Raiders would be great based on their needs, but obviously he is an enemy to the Raiders so it might be a bad fit.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:25 (fourteen years ago)

That would almost be enough to turn me into a Packers fan. Fuckin hire Shannahan too, make a party out of it.

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:27 (fourteen years ago)

i really don't want to have to look at brad childress sunday afternoons

horseshoe, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:30 (fourteen years ago)

Hue Jackson said he's lost for words. He said "He's going to gut this place".

^__^

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:30 (fourteen years ago)

oh joy

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:31 (fourteen years ago)

If the next head coach is Winston Moss as some are predicting, I predict failure due to baldness:

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:42 (fourteen years ago)

He looks like a Bowflex dude

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:44 (fourteen years ago)

alright i'm already way into the winston moss era

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:45 (fourteen years ago)

He seems kinda badass & handsome. I'm in!

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:46 (fourteen years ago)

#shallow

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:46 (fourteen years ago)

haha oh Veg you speak for me

horseshoe, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:46 (fourteen years ago)

DING

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:48 (fourteen years ago)

That's why I'm lobbying for Gruden! I demand a handsome coach.

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:48 (fourteen years ago)

hell of a neck on that guy

frogbs, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:48 (fourteen years ago)

Moss played on the Raiders from '91-'94, during the original Art Shell era.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:50 (fourteen years ago)

I just saw that on wiki

hmmm

he is VERY handsome

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:51 (fourteen years ago)

winston moss is one hell of a good name too

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:52 (fourteen years ago)

means business imo

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:53 (fourteen years ago)

I dont think the "rule of bald coaches" applies to black guys

frogbs, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:57 (fourteen years ago)

I was mostly joking frog bullshit

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 19:59 (fourteen years ago)

For all the talk that the Raiders had the most penalties in 2011, Baltimore and Detroit (and Washington) had more penalty yards.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:00 (fourteen years ago)

well I was 100% serious. look at Tony Dungy for CHRISTS SAKE

frogbs, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:06 (fourteen years ago)

Tony Dungy is bald, right? I can never tell whats going on on that head

frogbs, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:06 (fourteen years ago)

He's bald, yeah. He was already starting to go when the Bucs hired him.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:08 (fourteen years ago)

Dungy was another bald guy who was smart enough to wear a hat though.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:08 (fourteen years ago)

i do like the idea of the raiders gm firing hue out of spite for not allowing him to draft anyone in the first three rounds

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:10 (fourteen years ago)

Belichick is developing quite a bald spot of his own, thus making the Patriots seem overall less dominant.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:11 (fourteen years ago)

Art Shell wore that tiny baseball cap, dude shoulda rocked the bald look

Janet Snakehole (VegemiteGrrl), Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:11 (fourteen years ago)

Hue wasn't actually bald though was he? He's "bald by choice", right?

frogbs, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:11 (fourteen years ago)

No one with a lustrous head of hair would go bald by choice, come on.

polyphonic, Tuesday, 10 January 2012 20:16 (fourteen years ago)
