well a) no one wants to get hurt, and b) the fact that they're only together for a few days makes it hard to install more than an extremely basic offensive/defensive scheme.

yeah it's not like MLB where there's some occasional clowning around (in the past at least) but it's mostly a regular game with 10x as many substitutions, or the NBA where they seem to take it pretty seriously while having fun. the pro bowl is just zzzzzz

re: joe the flacco--he is a credible starter, prob more steady than special, i think they ask him to do too much a lot of the time. concern w/ravens is losing two hall of famers on defense in the next couple years, but they have a p. good personnel dept. and i think they'll stay competitive.

for the winning Pro Bowl team, all of the teams in that conference should get an addition win added to the standings in 2011, and the losers an additional loss.

Excessive celebrating should be encouraged in Pro Bowl. Also hockey-style fighting.
