lol we passed on tomlin as coach because he was too "hip-hop"

Daniel, Esq., Monday, 24 January 2011 02:53 (fifteen years ago)

I think the biggest advantage the Steelers have over the Packers is Tomlin vs McCarthy.

C-L, Monday, 24 January 2011 02:54 (fifteen years ago)

man, what a great super bowl

Roberto Spiralli, Monday, 24 January 2011 02:55 (fifteen years ago)

i dont think thats a huge advantage

marios balls in 3d for 3ds (Princess TamTam), Monday, 24 January 2011 02:55 (fifteen years ago)

Rapey vs Sexbomb Superbowl

VegemiteGrrrl, Monday, 24 January 2011 02:56 (fifteen years ago)

yeah, plus tomlin has a really bad tendency to turtle, can be pretty conservative - i'd say it's a wash

marios balls in 3d for 3ds (Princess TamTam), Monday, 24 January 2011 02:57 (fifteen years ago)

The Steelers almost blew their conference championship game against a slightly better team that wasn't playing their 3rd string QB, I guess that counts as having an "advantage" over the Packers, FWIW.

NoTimeBeforeTime, Monday, 24 January 2011 02:57 (fifteen years ago)

I think McCarthy is kinda Andy Reidish in late game management situations. Like we got into way too many late-and-close losses, and let way too many teams back in over the past couple years.

C-L, Monday, 24 January 2011 02:59 (fifteen years ago)

yeah but turtling kills you in an offensive league like this

marios balls in 3d for 3ds (Princess TamTam), Monday, 24 January 2011 02:59 (fifteen years ago)

I dunno maybe I still harboring too many resentments over that weird stretch in the first half of the season with the first Bears game and then the Dolphins and then the Redskins.

C-L, Monday, 24 January 2011 03:00 (fifteen years ago)

they beat the evil sauron team hovering over the land isn't that enough for you?

Daniel, Esq., Monday, 24 January 2011 03:01 (fifteen years ago)

Yeah I think either way if one team gets a couple scores ahead of the other then it'll get tightened back up. Like I trust the GB offense way more when they have to get 14 points back instead of having to hold a 14 point lead.

I hate Big Ben, but for some reason the idea of him catching Tom Brady in SB wins makes me smile.

If Packers win, then Aaron Rodgers will have as many SB wins as Brett Favre, also.

C-L, Monday, 24 January 2011 03:06 (fifteen years ago)

yep, and he will be more loved.

Daniel, Esq., Monday, 24 January 2011 03:07 (fifteen years ago)

VegemiteGrrrl, Monday, 24 January 2011 03:09 (fifteen years ago)

jimrome. The big fella, Rex Ryan wears it on his sleeve. You can see why cats love playing for him. Even in defeat, he's winning over free agents.

gtfo, jim rome. right now rex ryan is winning over the owners of a pittsburgh all-you-can-eat buffet

The other day, I was watching clips from the USC-Cal game in 2003 that went to 3 OTs and was USC's last loss until the Rose Bowl vs. Texas, and I did not even realize that Aaron Rodgers was the starting QB for Cal in that game. I also did not realize that he was pulled midway through the game after throwing 2 picks.

zvookster, Monday, 24 January 2011 03:37 (fifteen years ago)

better team won.
how is it possible NO ONE on here is talking about the moment where Sanchez picked his nose and wiped it on a coach who proceeded to give him a "WHAT THE FUCK" in response?

thank you based jättegod (forksclovetofu), Monday, 24 January 2011 03:39 (fifteen years ago)

I posted the animated gif of it.

polyphonic, Monday, 24 January 2011 03:41 (fifteen years ago)

Not a coach, backup QB Mark Brunell

VegemiteGrrrl, Monday, 24 January 2011 03:41 (fifteen years ago)

fruit of the goon (k3vin k.), Monday, 24 January 2011 03:42 (fifteen years ago)

Sanchez is a 12 yo, no story there

VegemiteGrrrl, Monday, 24 January 2011 03:42 (fifteen years ago)

all these redskins bloggers on the twitters definitely noticed (and appreciated) that reaction to brunell
