Thank god mentioning the names Nate Kaeding and Vanderdrunk didn't put the hex on Gould.

Criminy the worst thing to be as a kicker is the most accurate ever.

Maybe he'll shave his head tonight out of depression. xp

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:45 (fifteen years ago)

I don't dig this Bear/Packer love after the game.

That's just not right.

It is against nature and forces hatred into other corners of the world.

earlnash, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:46 (fifteen years ago)

three unbeatens left in the nfl...the steelers (lol), the chiefs, (wtf?), and the bears (wtf lol)

('_') (omar little), Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:46 (fifteen years ago)

Okay, the only unbeatens left are Steelers, Chiefs and Bears? Nobody would've predicted that.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:46 (fifteen years ago)

horseshoe, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:50 (fifteen years ago)

^ I would support this being week 4 thread's title.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:51 (fifteen years ago)

are you saying that out of admiration or terror or

drop s7ocki (bnw), Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:51 (fifteen years ago)

steve young wants to marry aaron rodgers

xp to be totally honest i would find steve young smash-y if he were not deeply offputting as a person, so....

horseshoe, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:52 (fifteen years ago)

i feel like he's doing something bad to be so preternaturally youthful and beautiful-looking but maybe it is just being Mormon

horseshoe, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:53 (fifteen years ago)

i was trying to think of clever "freeze the kicker" puns today for week 4 but choked

drop s7ocki (bnw), Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:53 (fifteen years ago)

Really, it was a pretty good week of football. The 4pm games were pretty wacky yesterday, if on the ugly side.

Sunday and Monday night were both very good games.

earlnash, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:53 (fifteen years ago)

Greg Olsen reminds me of Seann William Scott

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:57 (fifteen years ago)

horseshoe, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 03:58 (fifteen years ago)

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 04:01 (fifteen years ago)

horseshoe, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 04:02 (fifteen years ago)

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 04:04 (fifteen years ago)

i don't know about this ensemble aaron rodgers is sporting

horseshoe, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 04:14 (fifteen years ago)

He's wearing one of Reggie White's old jackets.

Johnny Fever, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 04:16 (fifteen years ago)

man that has me thinking of like... a thriller set in a bakery, where the killer stabs to death a few employees but accidentally leaves behind an identifying artifact in a vat of pudding -- little did he know that one of his victims was not quite dead, and when the scene is discovered, the victim's last, dying words are "the truth... is in the pudding..."

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 September 2010 04:16 (fifteen years ago)

The "villain on this week's Simon vs Simon" look.

so many irl lols can't believe no one has made this movie yet

horseshoe, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 04:22 (fifteen years ago)

I was watching this with my friends from Wisconsin, and a couple of friends who inexplicably enjoy the Bears, so I could not share it with you guys, but basically all I would have done was type out profanities in capital letters every time something good happened but was immediately negated because of a penalty. This happened many times tonight.

On the plus side, watching the NFL while eating BBQ and hanging out with four of your best dudes is a pretty solid way to make up for a 13+ hour day of surgery clerkship.

so wait i had to go to bed after the fumble, what did mccarthy do exactly?

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 11:39 (fifteen years ago)

the bears got it down to about the three yard line with maybe like 1:29 left and the pack had their one timeout & instead of letting them score a td the packers D keeps the bears out of the end zone until the clock gets to 8 seconds or whatever and robbie gould hits a glorified extra point

J0rdan S., Tuesday, 28 September 2010 17:16 (fifteen years ago)

yeah tbqh i was certain the pack was setting up to let someone just dive into the end zone.

('_') (omar little), Tuesday, 28 September 2010 17:17 (fifteen years ago)

gotcha.

i was watching highlights at noon and am trying to figure out if the packers ever gave tauscher help on peppers? he obv could not handle julius on his own.

call all destroyer, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 17:21 (fifteen years ago)

yeah, that was embarrassing

Muscus ex Craneo Humano (forksclovetofu), Tuesday, 28 September 2010 17:22 (fifteen years ago)

All the talk before the season about the Bears being unwise to spend all that money on Julius Peppers seems pretty foolish now.

funky house skeptic (polyphonic), Tuesday, 28 September 2010 17:24 (fifteen years ago)

Aside from running back a punt and throwing a TD there's pretty much nothing Peppers didn't do on the field.

VegemiteGrrrl, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 17:25 (fifteen years ago)

double negative ahoy, oof

VegemiteGrrrl, Tuesday, 28 September 2010 17:26 (fifteen years ago)

xp true but he'll still drive them crazy with semi-regular no-shows
