I'm still angry.

I would like to know:

1. how Detroit was able to have an injury timeout when they had no timeouts left
2. what caused the pass interference call. I mean obviously it was legit since not one but TWO refs threw the flag, but I still would like to know what caused it.

CLEVELAND DOES NOT DESERVE MANGINI (Mr. Snrub), Monday, 23 November 2009 01:25 (sixteen years ago)

I thought it was that the game can't end on a defensive penalty, so they allowed a play on 0:00.

(Detroit/Cleveland game, I mean).

Daniel, Esq., Monday, 23 November 2009 01:26 (sixteen years ago)

Washington's defense is pretty good. The problem is that they ran out of money when it came to the o-line. If they could really run the ball and they do have some decent backs, so I don't think that is the issue, it would probably make up a bit for the deficiency at QB and Campbell is maybe a slight bit better than some of the other bottom trawlers. I also think the Skins often try too much motion mumbo jumbo on their offense, which works if you have a top level QB who has been running the same gig for a while, but it won't when your QB has had his offense changed year after year and he isn't a great field genius anyway. They need to get to the KISS style of keep it simple stupid kind of offense and limit mistakes.

earlnash, Monday, 23 November 2009 01:29 (sixteen years ago)

yea snrub is rite, all that was bullplop, i felt v. bad for the browns that whole sequence

johnny crunch, Monday, 23 November 2009 01:30 (sixteen years ago)

everybody knew from late last season through the offseason that they needed to upgrade the o-line, i mean every fool on the redskins-related interwebs was saying that, but snyder decided to do other things.

yeah, whatever (daria-g), Monday, 23 November 2009 01:31 (sixteen years ago)

Well they don't make football cards for most of the linemen and Snyder seems to hire players like he is picking cards.

earlnash, Monday, 23 November 2009 01:34 (sixteen years ago)

It would go to figure the first time Andy Reid remembers how to call a running play would be against the Bears.

earlnash, Monday, 23 November 2009 01:35 (sixteen years ago)

i love watching the eagles

Mr. Yah (J0rdan S.), Monday, 23 November 2009 01:36 (sixteen years ago)

Four point play for the Bears with a nice hustle by #71.

earlnash, Monday, 23 November 2009 01:37 (sixteen years ago)

jØrdån (omar little), Monday, 23 November 2009 02:32 (sixteen years ago)

Criminy freaking Christmas, can the Bears O-line go a series without one hold or false start.

earlnash, Monday, 23 November 2009 02:33 (sixteen years ago)

as a bears fan i can answer that with a "no"

jØrdån (omar little), Monday, 23 November 2009 02:34 (sixteen years ago)

No doubt, they usually wait till right until a key moment on the drive or a big play to screw up, especially Pace.

earlnash, Monday, 23 November 2009 02:35 (sixteen years ago)

Crap another hold.

earlnash, Monday, 23 November 2009 02:39 (sixteen years ago)

Ochocinco's gonna be on Jimmy Fallon. YAY!

Johnny Fever, Monday, 23 November 2009 02:42 (sixteen years ago)

http://blogs.suntimes.com/bears/2009/11/seeing_yellow_bears_penalties.html

Pretty good very recent breakdown of Bears penalty problems.

15--False start
12--Offensive holding

That is a lot.

earlnash, Monday, 23 November 2009 02:42 (sixteen years ago)

The penalties were a big part of losing last week to the Niners, it constantly put the Bears in 3rd and long and allowed SF to blitz like mad.

god, if i ever wear any of those outfits, just kill me alright? i mean if i end up living in a trailer in kentucky (BUT NOT FLORIDA) i can deal, as long as i have NFL on tv, but if i'm wearing like polyester pants and flower prints, seriously NO.

Andy Reid always looks like he is the building super. I bet he has to turn off the lights and lock up the Linc when he leaves.
