Yeah, I was having unpleasant flashbacks to last week's debacle. Luckly the Jets can't capitalize like the Colts. But seriously, Pats need to get it together for 60 full minutes of play or they are done.

you know what is brilliant-est about it? the way peyton kind of rocks from side to side at the end.

i resent alyson hannigan for taking up what could be peyton-time in it
Just saw Donovan warming up pre-game on NBC and all the sudden he looks like a retired guy. Like, I know he's playing, but he looks like he should be with Warren Sapp and Rodney Harrison eating a big dinner somewhere.

I'm still angry.
I would like to know:
1. how Detroit was able to have an injury timeout when they had no timeouts left2. what caused the pass interference call. I mean obviously it was legit since not one but TWO refs threw the flag, but I still would like to know what caused it.
― CLEVELAND DOES NOT DESERVE MANGINI (Mr. Snrub), Monday, 23 November 2009 01:25 (sixteen years ago)
I thought it was that the game can't end on a defensive penalty, so they allowed a play on 0:00.
(Detroit/Cleveland game, I mean).
― Daniel, Esq., Monday, 23 November 2009 01:26 (sixteen years ago)
Washington's defense is pretty good. The problem is that they ran out of money when it came to the o-line. If they could really run the ball and they do have some decent backs, so I don't think that is the issue, it would probably make up a bit for the deficiency at QB and Campbell is maybe a slight bit better than some of the other bottom trawlers. I also think the Skins often try too much motion mumbo jumbo on their offense, which works if you have a top level QB who has been running the same gig for a while, but it won't when your QB has had his offense changed year after year and he isn't a great field genius anyway. They need to get to the KISS style of keep it simple stupid kind of offense and limit mistakes.
― earlnash, Monday, 23 November 2009 01:29 (sixteen years ago)
yea snrub is rite, all that was bullplop, i felt v. bad for the browns that whole sequence
― johnny crunch, Monday, 23 November 2009 01:30 (sixteen years ago)
everybody knew from late last season through the offseason that they needed to upgrade the o-line, i mean every fool on the redskins-related interwebs was saying that, but snyder decided to do other things.

Well they don't make football cards for most of the linemen and Snyder seems to hire players like he is picking cards.

It would go to figure the first time Andy Reid remembers how to call a running play would be against the Bears.

No doubt, they usually wait till right until a key moment on the drive or a big play to screw up, especially Pace.
