yeah running on buffalo is something that should work--their front is so small and carolina's still a good running team.

I have Drew Brees and Ben Roethlisberger in my money league. Should I try and get a #2 WR (which I desperately need. I've been going with Torry Holt and Hakeem Nicks all season) for Big Ben? Or is the possibility of injury to my boy Brees too great?

I'd def trade Ben away for a #2 WR. First of all, the difference between QB's isn't too high, unless you're maybe talking about the top 1-3 (of whom you've already got one). Hell, I'd trade Brees AND Ben for someone like Orton and grab some superplayers. Top ranked QB's are for chumps.

no no, do not trade brees. if you've got a dude who could throw for 40 tds, you keep him imo. maybe you trade him away for an underrated mostly-sure thing like schaub + another first round level guy, but otherwise no.

who's the saints backup qb? it's a good system, i imagine whoever is behind him would be at least decent.

I'd go with Ricky, because the Dolphins burned the Jets on the ground last game, and the Giants had shit for ground yards against the Redbirds on Sunday.

Benson will be steady production all season (barring injury), and you can alternate Slaton and Ricky based on matchups. Is someone trying to trade you LDT and Manningham or are you trying to deal them yourself? If you have Deangelo already, keep him.

they're trying to trade for Dangelo. I'm loaded at RB; WR is Vincent Jackson, Johnny Knox, Sidney Rice and Andre Caldwell, which in a 3 WR league is kinda thin... would prefer to deal one top 20 RB for one top 20 WR, but no one is buying. Manningham is meant to answer that but feast or famine Eli has me doubting him.

Dunno I feel about Manningham now that Nicks is back.

if brees tosses a couple TDs to devery, you might be in luck. however devery is feast or famine and he's just as likely to score 2 pts as he is 20. i do not, i hate to admit, like your chances.

i hate to admit it because i'm counting on devery (and curtis lofton) in ilnfl to not only make up 11 pts in deficit but to also score enough pts to cancel out any additional pts michael turner might score. i'm screwed tbqf.

I'd give you a 20% chance...the saints would have to have a horrible, horrible game *and* devery would have to do pretty well at the same time.

If LeSean McCoy hadn't broken off that big one at the end of the Iggles game, I'd be more like 30 points up. Much more comfortable margin. But I can't exactly be angry for the Iggles kicking ass, right?

i'd go benson and williams, but keep your eye on the gameday news w/r/t the cincy backfield. they're saying he will start, though.

that's tuff! i think Forte is a must, but I dunno about the rest.
